LUXEMBOURG WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD
This is Alexandra territory
Begone
>tfw will never be as good at inappropriately touching cattle as Pat Shortt
damn....... 1 irish post in an hour...... so this is the power of pedophilia
>Rose of Tralee sub-edition
Seems a bit early desu.
>posting mine images
Good lad, just make sure you pay the rental fee.
That anime airing?
>Alexandra
Who?
Why is it so fucking windy?
>That anime airing?
Yes it has started already, not worth the watch though
>Who?
>wake up in the middle of the night from nightmares
Very unpleasant experience.
Surprisingly warm out despite it though.
>reading the news whilst eating lunch
>see the Donald Tusk calling himself Irish again
>dread coming home to see the Froggy singing Ode to Joy again
Glad my fears have not materialised.
>Surprisingly warm out
Too warm desu. Bring back the Winter.
>audio on PC isn't working
>go back to restore point
>audio still isn't working
It's a pain and It's been like that for days, I'm surprised it's still so windy. I was going to go out to get snacks in Tesco but I don't want my hair messed up after just washing it, I guess it's for the best.
Are you sure it's not something stupid like the wire being loose?
>The undocumented Irish in Boston
That's not how you spell illegal.
>restore point
Do people actually use these?
Try rebooting or running the audio troubleshooter. Better yet install Linux.
I quite like the wind, unless it is windy and rainy in which case the umbrella gets fucked up.
Does it work through earphones? Can device manager detect the driver?
It might just be hardware.
Never mind, turned the PC off and back on again and it works now.
>Do people actually use these?
Part of why I used it was that I actually had some nasty adware that malwarebytes wouldn't detect, seems to have gotten rid of it thankfully.
>install Linux
I'd love to but sadly my graphics card never lets me run it properly, plus more games can be played on Windows
>That's not how you spell illegal
The One O'Clock News had the decency to say both at least.
>turned the PC off and back on again
That's the first thing you should always try.
>The One O'Clock News had the decency to say both at least
Aye, the Six One did as well, not the headline of this article though.
>That's the first thing you should always try
No no, first you hit with a hurley and then you turn it off and on. Gets the electrical juices flowing and such.
Enjoying Devilman (debeerman) fairly well.
>Dry madeleine
Repulsive
What did the Irish have for dinner?
>Gets the electrical juices flowing and such.
>t.Poi the electrician
Nothing yet, I had some ham and two beers though. Not very nice either of them desu. Ham was fine.
>What did the Irish have for dinner?
Dunno yet. Either lasagne, home made pizza or bolognese. What did you have?
Was gonna have a beer but if I start now I won't stop. What beer did you have?
>Poi the electrician
Truly a being of many talents.
>What did the Irish have for dinner?
Meat and veg.
Had some lasagne myself, I'm wanting some beer but I'm thinking perhaps I should take a bit of a break from alcohol.
>thinking perhaps I should take a bit of a break from alcohol
Nah, have a few cans. Government needs the taxes.
The first was Grolsch, and I remember liking that, but for some reason today I found it far too strongly pronounced and "piss-like", even beyond the type of beer which I like.
The second was Puck pilsner, which, being an expensive Irish brand doing perhaps the most common type of continental beer, obviously wasn't going to do things the same way. Needless to say, even though I was in the mood for pilsner, I found it far too syrupy, sweetly malty, and rich for my taste.
Did you drink much lately?
>Meat and veg.
Not undercooked I hope
>What did you have?
Some veg and two madeleines, one which was nice, smooth, silky and moist like...you know
The other one as dry as can be,almost choked to death
Just ham?
Yeah, Tesco do this lovely Italian ham, can't remember the name of it.
Pancetta or prosciutto I imagine?
No, it was different than that. More like ham than bacon.
Feeling giddy after my third beer.
Should i get a takeaway, and what kind?
What are the plans for tonight, lads? I shall be playing Mario Kart and Arms, and perhaps watching a bit of Star Trek.
>plans
Sleep.
Finish devilman, get slightly more drunk, and eat unhealthy types and quantities of food.
It's a secret
Sleep, played some CS today, I am truly no longer what I used to be
What are the options? Pizza, chinese or supermacs?
Buying junk online then watching anime.
Is Arms fun?
>Is Arms fun?
It is indeed. It's pretty simple to grasp the controls and mechanics but can still be very difficult in terms of being able to fight opponents well.
Wish they'd drop the price on stuff like that, I want to try it but don't think I'd enjoy it enough to warrant full price.
>Pizza, chinese or supermacs?
Fourth option, pizza from Supermacs.
>Buying junk online
Any particular junk?
>I want to try it but don't think I'd enjoy it enough to warrant full price.
Same,it seems like a fun mini-game but not really worth to pay full-price just to get my ass beat by Prinz desu
I decided on pizza in the end.
DAMN THOSE ITALIANS
>Any particular junk?
A light novel, a snes mini and a handheld vacuum cleaner.
>A light novel
Which one desu?
It's a solid choice. What toppings?
Papa Johns isn't the same as Supermacs.
I got pizza from Supermacs once yonks ago before PJ was a thing here, and it was clearly a more "ad hoc" project than the Papa Johns, which, while nice in my opinion, is very obviously quite processed.
The one where they put all the meat on it.
Spice & Wolf
>Spice & Wolf
I should probably add that anime to my backlog.
Do you read many LNs? Favourites?
Please explain the world of Irish pizza to me
>a handheld vacuum cleaner.
Always handy
>a snes mini
Saw one at the local Cactus today for 80 euros, quite surprised they are still in stores
Did you buy it to play any particular games?
>light novel
Your first?
>Please explain the world of Irish pizza to me
Several chains, more or less ranked by prominence:
>Papa Johns (within Supermacs restaraunts - nice combination)
>Apache Pizza (Irish)
>Mizzonis (Irish)
>Domino's
>Four Star Pizza
There's also Pizza Hut and Milanos, but I don't know if they're outside of Dublin.
The rest is local restaraunts.
>Apache Pizza (Irish)
Huh, always assumed they were foreign.
Well the owner is some woman with a double barrelled English surname and her English husband, but that's "Irish" by all publicly acknowledgeable standards.
>I should probably add that anime to my backlog.
Definitely, if you like the idea of an anime about economics.
>Do you read many LNs?
No, this is my first although I have a few manga. I've generally just looked for them for a series I've liked that never completed the source material in the anime. I'm hoping to get into both a bit more and build a collection.
>Always handy
I don't know why I don't have one already, especially for the car. It just struck me today while trailing a vacuum cleaner out of my house and struggling for range that there probably is a better way.
>Saw one at the local Cactus today for 80 euros, quite surprised they are still in stores
They're stocked a lot better than the NES was, seem easy enough to find.
>Did you buy it to play any particular games?
Nothing in particular although mostly the rpgs, Zelda and Mario. I'm going to hack it to put everything I want on it.
Pizza Hut and Milanos are in Limerick at least. Although I didn't know Milanos delivered, I thought it was a sit down place
>if you like the idea of an anime about economics
Well it certainly sounds like a unique enough concept for an anime.
>LN
I've been thinking of getting into LNs, similar to you for anime that don't cover all the source material.
Mahouka and Re:Zero are two that come to mind.
I see, here it's exclusively local restaurants and the occasional Pizza Hut,who are the only multinational fast-food chain that has Luxembourg-exclusive products
>I'm going to hack it to put everything I want on it.
Such a bad boy
>LN collection
Quite ambitious for someone who has still to receive his first one
Yeah, I included them just for completeness, and I didn't say they didn't deliver because I don't know them that well.
>Luxembourg-exclusive products
Tell us more.
Which one is your favourite? I'd probably say Papa Johns or Pizza Hut.
Papa Johns. Haven't been at pizza hut since they shut down the one they had in Liffey Valley, but I did like them.
>Quite ambitious for someone who has still to receive his first one
One must aim high.
Honey-Gruyère garlic bread, special sausage crust pizza and pic
Only had the special garlic bread, pretty good desu, only went to Pizza Hut twice
Oíche mhaith.
Codladh sámh.
>Glad my fears have not materialised
Freude, schöner Götterfunken etc. etc.
>late by 3 minutes
Shit.
Good night
Good night,shall follow your example
Go néiroidh tú amárach neartaithe agus folláin
Thanks ;_;
Finished Devilman. I'm practically an otaku hikkamori now.
>/éire/ is dying earlier and earlier every night
>everyone keeps trying to outdo one-another in going to bed early
>one month from now half the posters will be in bed before sundown
Anybody else find it strangely warm in bed these past few nights?
>one month from now half the posters will be in bed before sundown
But the problem is that we're not having crack of dawn threads to compensate.
>Ireland becomes world superpower after its biggest autists give their brains the rest they need to function properly
Uncomfortably so.
It's really warm tonight especially
>Anybody else find it strangely warm in bed these past few nights?
No but it hasn't been as cold as it usually is. The weather has been warming up this week.
>we're not having crack of dawn threads to compensate
If you want to get up at 5 in the morning to milk the cows and shitpost about anime then be my guest.
>Ireland becomes world superpower after its biggest autists give their brains the rest they need to function properly
For some reason I imagine such a reality being a dystopia more than anything else.
>10 degrees
Jesus, you're right. It's barely that warm during the day. Have temperatures been that high for the past few nights too?
>he hasn't named the family cow after his 2d waifu
>family cow
>singular
That's not how it works.
>I imagine such a reality being a dystopia more than anything else
Only for everyone else.
In the old days it would have been.
People in the old days had herds too. Very few people had a single cow.
This is true. /éire/ is Ireland's true government in waiting.
You may be overestimating the historical wealth of the average Irish family.
*cough* west brit *cough*
>You may be overestimating the historical wealth of the average Irish family
You might be misunderstanding the wealth of the historical Irish family. People back then were poor because they made little more than what they ate themselves. Almost none of them owned the land they were working but they did own the animals. If a person had one cow, they likely had several more.
>*cough* west brit *cough*
Assuming you're accusing me of being descended from some sect of aristocracy and not just throwing out insults, the rich Anglo-Irish landlords would own the land and made their money by the payments they received from the peasantry. I doubt many of them had a single cow to their name on their Irish lands.
>I doubt many of them had a single cow to their name on their Irish lands.
I would have assumed they'd have a few for fresh milk? Pigs were common across all classes too.
What's a good anime for a new comer?
You're underestimating what was inflicted on the Irish people, if not based on prejudice from your own ethnicity/class, then from ignorance coloured by the distance of the pre-land acts, pre-famine oppression.
>the rich Anglo-Irish landlords would own the land and made their money by the payments they received from the peasantry. I doubt many of them had a single cow to their name on their Irish lands.
A huge part of why farm holds got so small and why the famine happened is because it was more profitable for the land-thieves to "clear" the land of tenants and put animals on it. They did the same thing in Scotland too, let's not forget.
>I would have assumed they'd have a few for fresh milk?
Possibly, I'm not as familiar with how the land was run directly on a manor estate compared with how it was run on the tenants land. I wouldn't imagine there being farm animals (besides horses of course) directly on or adjacent to a lord's estate, they enjoyed appearing refined and dignified and the sound of a cow's moo seems like the thing a rich old man would complain of interrupting his reading.
They'd have little trouble getting fresh milk from the locals though. Tenants would often pay part or sometimes all of their rent by directly giving produce to the landlord in lieu of cash.
Woah there buckaroo youre a luxembourg
>They did the same thing in Scotland too
The Highland Clearances make me so damn upset.
Death Note
>5 weeks until the referendum
It's crept up quickly
I just watched NGE during Easter and it ruined me.
So I suggest you watch it.
Either watch Rebuild 1.0 or the first six episodes, then go through the anime through to EoE.
Well imagine that times at least twenty in Ireland.
>watch Rebuild
You monster.
>imagine that times at least twenty in Ireland
Don't get me wrong I know our history and appreciate the suffering we went through it's just the Highland clearances make me depressed reading about on a level greater than any other foreign country. I wouldn't react nearly as strongly reading about similar things in Italy or France or wherever.
Ulsterfag here, what referendum
The referendum on whether Paddy Jackson should be burned at the stake or exiled to France.
Why would he want to stay now?
Rebuild 1.0 is better-paced than the overall arc of the establishing episodes.
I would probably counsel watching the anime over the rebuild the first time, because of fan theories, but more importantly because of the heavily built up reveal which matters greatly in the anime but which 1.0 just blatantly presents to the viewer.
