It may not be an opera but its still music and it may not even be particularly good music objectively speaking but the people that made it still wanted to make good music they still wanted to connect to people. Rollins connected, he sung the songs like he meant them, even if he didnt write them it felt like he had. And really nothing matters in punk apart from one thing and one thing only and thats sincerity. Rollins in real whether you think so or not, even when he went to commercial it was the companies appeasing him not the other way around.

Yes but we are talking about holocaust denial here. It's something that can be debunked in a 5 minute google search. She won't become a nazi over that especially if she communicates with intelligent people on the regular. I doubt this is an actual problem for this guy. Also it makes no sense to compare this to a case of a mother killing her child. This is a case of a person reading dumb things on the internet and then mentioning it to her son. It really doesn't seem like she is going to become a neo-nazi over something like that. The case of a mother killing her child can't be compared because a human has to go through a very different thought process than just agreeing with something someone said. She was probably going through some bad very bad times and in them someone took advantage of that and coerced them into the act. People don't just kill because they were told something by someone it is usually much more complicated than that. Lad it could lead to him overreacting and souring the relationship between him and his mother.
