Rural. For autistic farming, fishing, mushroom foraging, berry picking, making pickled stuff and jam, and other fine activities that I enjoy.

City, even though I'm an introvert. Just has way more services and things to do.

Picturesque country would be nice for a bit, but I'd eventually get bored.

Suburbs are kinda boring and not really good for if you're a young adult.

You just made that up. 99% of russia's rural population are hopeless half-dead alcoholics who never do any of the things you mentioned.
Interestingly, only the people who live in cities do hunting, fishing or mushroom/berry picking stuff during weekends or vacations. Locals (those who permanently live in rural areas) have neither desire nor health and strength to do that shit (which is understandable when their wages are close to zero and there are no chances for progress or improvement ever).

I was born and raised in a village, I know that a lot of the people there aren't exactly energetic or healthy. I was just lucky to have a decent family.

At least in rural life you have the freedom to rip around and do fun shit in your fields. Suburban life is fucking garbage.

I would love to live in the countryside but not too far from town.
Right now I live on the edge of a 90k city, 15 minute walk to nature and lakes etc in one direction and all the city comforts in the other direction. It's nice.

Our cities here are significantly larger in area than most European cities tho. Except for the capital and its suburbs, many of our cities have farmlands and shit just 10 minutes away from the downtown.

Yeah, I think cities differ quite a bit that you can't consider them the same topic. Cities here are huge sprawling affairs, with the majority living in outer suburbs. Seems like in a lot of places the standard is densely-populated commieblock-like living.

I think so. I may be wrong but I feel that cities in Europe are pretty compact compared to our cities with a similar population size.

Isn’t it the very opposite? Especially in big cities, you aren’t expected to talk with strangers. Your neighbors don’t bother to know about your life whereas in the rural area the store clerk knows what you had for the last dinner. In addition cities definitely give you a whole lot activities to enjoy alone, other than playing vidyas and surfing the web at home.

I think so too. It's hard to be introvert when living in a small town/village. Everybody just know each other, mind each other. At least in cities, no one really gives a shit about anyone, no one will give a shit about what you're doing, and you can easily do things alone (and there are more things to do alone), people won't care.
If you live in a rural area with no friends, you'll just want to kill yourself desu.
