Popular brokers for stock trading: Robinhood >commission free and no minimum to open robinhood.com
> How is it free? Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet? Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country? The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

>I guess you are 2 scoops now Kek. Yeah, I fucking earned it sitting on these fucking calls.
>Most of these senators are fucking retarded A few of them surprised me, but many didn't catch on the first time he explained the situation with advertisers.
>Based fucking Cruz I remember liking him too. I think he brought up political censorship. Unfortunately, it's not what any of the outrage is about, so it's not necessary for Cuckerburg to turn it into policy.
>FB is a platform for terrorism and human trafficking. They have been told to clean this up for a very long time and have done nothing nor do they seem to intend to. I think he is handling that part sufficiently well, but they just felt like grilling him more. Like that lady that want to push California's immigration policy by bringing up ICE >Normies are too stupid to understand that in order for a machine learning algorithm to do all of these things these morons propose IT HAS TO UNDERSTAND AND COLLECT EVERY DATAPOINT ABOUT YOU FIRST. The ML part is frustrating. It's alright for sicking a model on terrorism and stuff, but not hate speech -- that's what leads to political censorship. >All social media is about to get regulated. Google will too. Facebook lets you download what they have on you. I have no fucking idea what Google knows about me. >MUH RUSSIACHINA Fuck yeah. The Russian interference was supposed to be the main topic, but many senators also wanted to push extra agendas, as I saw most clearly that stupid fucker that brought up ICE. >Ill have my team get back to you for the rest. Yeah. Can't lie under oath, but he didn't seem to over-do it imo. He seemed very transparent to me.
- theres no chance of "hacks" and waking up with all your money gone even if you dont have a position
- its somewhat transparent. atleast these stocks are required by law to give the public all necessary info
- you can earn just as much (actually much more) than coins since stocks are extremely liquid and generally more volatile. there are many stocks under $10 that go up 100-1000% every month
stop with the coins meme. grow up and trade legit stuff right here

youtube.com/watch?v=61i2iDz7u04 if everyone traded stocks and avoided coins, they wouldn't be in as much of a disaster, and good traders would be making much more with the added volume and volatility

Should we add how to use the android emulator to use robinhood in the OP? Since the website can't do options yet. Also the iOS version can't do option spread either.
I have all of my trading monies in USAA's investment platform and Coinbase, at this moment.
Should I move all of it over to Robinhood web? I am familiar with Robinhood but have refused to use it because I didn't like the fact that it was only an app on the phone.
What do you guys think? Consolidating whatever I have from USAA and Coinbase onto Robinhood so I can just trade everything through there rather than switching back and forth all the time?
Ryan Richardson
>Trading on Coinbase Don't that have like a 2% Fee for every transaction? You can't trade crypto on web yet, but you can juse download the offical Android emulator and use RH android on your PC.

Trump is all in on volatility. Gonna lose all the recovery gains i made yesterday. There better be some realised explosions and deep concern to make up for this.

It’s a closed end fund that buys CLOs, most of which are floating rate tied to LIBOR.
Jace Myers
These do pay a lot, but they’re very volatile and at least one of the UBS ETNs have been liquidated due to low share price.
Also, they give you a 1099-MISC (or at least they did a few years ago when I held them) which I didn’t like. Not as bad as dealing with K-1s, but it would be cleaner if they classified the income as either interest or dividends.

LIBOR has been stealy rising for qui sol’me time time now. Would’t OXCL drop in price because of it ?
William Martinez
No, the opposite. The loans that OXLC buys are tied to LIBOR. So they should be collecting higher interest payments.
OXLC funds loan purchases through issuance of preferred securities, which are fixed rate. So their borrowing costs are fixed, but their interest income is tied to LIBOR.

I recently started studying how to invest. Right now I'm planning my first paper trading portfolio, and I have a couple of really stupid questions.
Is there a market category that is recommended for entry level investors, or should I start studying the companies in the fields I work into?
What's the best paper trading platform, considering that I want to read some rationales about why other users bought/sold a stock.

Nah, just choose stuff you know the most about, maybe stay away from leveraged ETF's for now.
