Some gookseries are really good

Also, China’s 2010 Three Kingdoms is a meme machine

>France
>Spain
>Denmark
>Sweden
>Norway

>South Africa

France is best tho
Some Russian stuff is okay but is a bit cringey and forced

>South Africa

I watched a Croatian movie the other day.

Rabbi Jacob

Akira Kurosawa, Keisuke Kinoshita, Shinya Tsukamoto.
>non japanese
Tran Anh Hung's trilogy, early Kar Wai, Zhang Yimou for example.

Dekalog (Poland), Berlin Alexanderplatz (Germany), and Scener ur ett äktenskap (Sweden) are all classic miniseries

I like Bergman and Tarkovsky

>t. kike polack

Dreyer and Kalatozov are alright

>Tarkovsky
Apart from camerawork and visuals in general, what do you like about him?

Ukrainian poetic cinema was an interesting art movement, it seems people there are/were really into mystical nature stuff judging by that movement and the few translated classic Ukrainian poems I can find

Pic related was technically made by an Armenian born in Georgia but it's one of the most visually impressive movies I've ever watched

Let the Bullets Fly is pretty good, it even won some awards on some German film festival
It's basicaly a chinese mix of western and gangster movie, action takes place in 1920s (Warlord Era) somwhere in south-western China

Swedish and D*nish(as much as I hate d*nes and their "language") crime fiction is by far the best in the world. Sweden has a varied movie industry while d*nmark pretty much only has crime fiction.

Bergen

also there's a greek tv series popular in peru kek

Most.
My most recent one that i liked is The Girl with a Suitcase.
Also, are Canadians anglos?

what are some good Swedish/Danish movies of this kind?

by non-anglo i basically meant the movies with no english-speaking actors
so if you have any canadian movies in french then why not

What about movies without talking?

you must be some real hipster

Borgen (from Denmark)

It's like the European House of Cards but without going full American Psycho in the end.

Czechoslovak cinema is great. Also Mrázik (Mopoзкo). (

I'm watching Money Heist on Netflix and its pretty good, except they chose to make the second worst character the main character.
