prepare to get fucked in the ass by papa gubment unless you live in a shithole like China

no it's fine they don't care just keep it under $100M

t. about to get his door kicked in

Some are city or regional based and some cover several states. If you are serious the nearby SBDC should host webinars.

you're talking to a board full of autist neets that made some decent money off crypto shill us your idea and how much you need user. if it's not retarded we might throw you some money

I've somehow had several close friends found startups and been able to invest relatively meager amounts and always do it. It's my way of hedging my bets.

If they succeed I make money and don't have nearly the same resentment at seeing them become successful as I would have. So far none of them have succeeded though.

nice thumbnail

Thanks user. I'm Canadian and we do have something like that. No webinars, but they do have good information on their website, and give small loans to startups

you walk into a bank like an adult

Create an Angel List profile with good summary of your business and try to blast it. Get at least one prominent investor’s interest and you’ll be golden.
Also look up Local Startup Incubators, reach out to them. They help you just for giving a shit and trying
Look up and contact Private Equity Firms and Family Offices that might be interested
Look up and contact Venture Capital Firms.

All of these things are available to you. If your idea is shit, you'll find out. But if you receive criticism, ask for all honest feedback and/or mentorship. Ask if the pitch can be made better and if so, how? Etc,

Before all this make sure you craft your deck good and hard. Also don’t be a begger faggot. Same rules as getting laid in high school apply. Project confidence and knowing you’re valuable. Do soft selling at first, asking for help with your pitch, for example, is a great way to actually pitch without pitching. When you know you’ve got the goods start acting like it and act slightly like you aren’t looking to raise, no matter how desperate you are. There is money out there begging to find a pocket. Good luck.
