Are there any metal bands you like that are from your cunt? Personally, I like Crescent and Scarab. They are both egyptian and the former sometimes uses egyptian lyrics in their music.

Cool too see arab metal bands tho
We only have aging 80's hair metal bands living off their oldies hits. The genre is basically dead. Heck, local music is dead since the demise of the cassette tape. Music artists have to resort to playing at fun fairs and opening restaurants to survive.
Not metal but better
They aren't "heavy" but I like them desu

I don't really listen to metal (only black metal), here are two cool french artists : Peste Noire and Louis Cachet (aka 'Burzum')

Mostly black metal, our black metal scene has a very specific sound best described as sounding very "oppressive"

There's also this (Skálmöld and Iceland Symphonic Orchestra) which is probably the pinnacle of success for Icelandic metal youtu.be
It sounds really weird but it is nice. What do you call this type of music?
I like Naðra. Btw how do you pronounce that?
Shoegaze.
Should be easy to pronounce for you: Nathra with the th as in "the" not th as in "thorn" (Þ is the th as in "thor")
Nahthrah if written as in English
Ah I see sounds like an arabic ذ then
Windir is also great

RIP Valfar ;_;
(;_:) youtu.be
also sombres forets from your country is cool

I feel very sad everytime I listen to Windir because Valfar has died a relatively depressing, but peaceful death, but also because Windir were sort of the good guys of norwegian black metal.
how did he die? overdose or some shit? i'm not sure about them in detail.
youtu.be
He went for a drunk walk in a snowstorm around Sognefjord and died of hypothermia in a snowbank.
Burzum
Enslaved
Immortal
Windir
Taake
Satyricon
My favourites desu
ferrum.lt
It's not an exhaustive list, but I'd say it covers a good portion of them. Don't go to the english version of the website, it has way less bands listed.
We used to have a lot of good black metal bands, but I'd say pagan/folk took over a while ago. Death is pretty common as well, but I'd say that more interesting music is being put out by bands mixing genres, like Dissimulation or Pergalė.
Satyricon's only good song was Mother North. The rest is honestly shit.
Also, didn't Hoest from Taake suck Infernus' dick on stage or somethin?
w-well it sounds kinda Brian Jones...

Not really follow metal anymore nor follow local metal back then, but this one is quite nice.

Sounds odd. I feel like certain languages like french and indo aren't very good for Metal songs because they either feel weird or don't have a phonology that consists of letters that come from the throat or so.
I never thought a small country like Malta would have a metal scene lol.
Nicee. Finnish and Polish goes well with Metal it seems like.
For comparison, here is a track by Al-Namrood, a saudi metal band that uses arabic lyrics - youtu.be
By the way, I heard metal is very popular in Scandi cunts. Why is that?
Because it's very dark and cold and grim and frostbitten.
You'd be surprised. I wish more bands used Maltese, it's harsh-ish sounds fits with metal imo.
I like masacre (death metal), nameless (melodic death metal)
Nameless - defeat
m.youtube.com
Masacre - violentada

I'm sure there's more but I mostly listen to F*nnish bands.
Thoughts on Al-Namrood or Benevolent?
Benevolent is one of my favorite bands ever
Metal is shit (apart for some cool songs) because of this
Haha my bad just saw you mention Al-Namrood earlier ;)
Angelus Apatrida - Thrash Metal
Mutant Squad (now called "Mutant") - Thrash Metal
Baron Rojo - the first big heavy metal band in Spain, besides Leño perhaps
youtube.com
Mago de Oz - Folk Metal
Been liking Kaunis Kuolematon lately.
youtube.com
Yeah maybe, but I'm more a pop punk guy, so maybe I'm not really a good person who can give you an example about local metal song. This one is my fav song from local post-hardcore band.
