Poland has an extradition treaty with the US. so you might get extradited for working in Poland and not paying taxes in the US, although I doubt the IRS has the resources to look into you. I looked into Italian citizenship briefly because I hear they hand it out on an ethnic basis. my great-grandfather was Italian (I'm an American living in Russian) but I guess that's too far back. no real need for an Italian passport, just seems fun. It's easy to hide, or rather "forget to declare" the money you make abroad, and if it's not too much and you're earning it honestly, the IRS will turn a blind eye when you show up as a little glitch in their system.

Though if it looks like you're up to something or actively trying to hide it, you're fucked...
