...to THIS

Is the eternal p*lackoid to be blamed for this?
Should Lithuanians not have trusted them?

That's always been ethnic Lithuania, more or less. The rest of the Duchy was Russian-speaking, which is why Lithuanians speak with a bit of a Russian accent even today, if you listen closely.

Prussia, Russia, and Austria wanted a slice of the pie

lol why did you spell lithiuania wrong i nthe first pic

I think you may be retarded

What made them so unpopular among their neighbours?

Being huge, weak, democratic, and a safe haven for Jews.

B

unorganized destroyed remains of rus' was an easy ride

>safe haven for Jews.
deserved desu

>implying white """""russians""""" aren't just russified lithuanians
Boris pls

no it's spelled wrong like it's in spanish or something

Because of the eternal Slav. Seriously, how can anyone succeed when they're surrounded by hordes of Slavs on all sides?

It is Spanish. Can't you see the "Principado de Moscovia"?

There's actually a significant difference

t. Lithuanian speaker

>like it's in spanish or something
bingo

Union of Lublin was a mistake.

Cannot agree more.

Good to know I'm not the only one who finds baltic languages sound a bit east slavic.

why?
did it change your countries much besides uniting them?

Because of this union Polish nobels become too powerful thus position of King was weak. Weak king + huge country with hoards full of gold = partitions of Poland

Lithuanians needed this union because of planning crusades on them and Russian aggression. And Polish army was one of the strongest if not the steongest in Europe at that time. Polish on the other hand went for the union out of the pure greed.

thanks
this was also the fatal problem of the HRE I think
