This is also proven by ancient Chinese chronicles. The Book of Wei of the Record of Three Kingdoms for example says that Wa people were taking iron in Byonhan (southern tip of the peninsula).

Lmao, Japanese and Western scholars/historians haven't reached such an conclusion, because 任那 appears not only on Japanese sources but on the Book of Song (China) and the Guwang-gae-to stele (Koguryo), which are primary sources written by non-Japanese contemporaries. On the contrary, "it is evident that the Yamato exercised significant influence in souther Korea from late in the fourth century to the end of the fifth" is the dominant view outside Korea as shows. It's only modern gooks that are defiance of history records and the orthodox view outside Korea as always, and the agreement, if any, is nothing but a political one for description of history textbooks, because the exact location and function of 任那 is still uncertain (and thus Japan doesn't describe 任那 as something like the colonial governor general in the 20th century), and yet Korean media exaggerated it as if the existence of 任那 itself was rejected, to satisfy gooks. Also, you don't have to confine Yamato's "significant influence in southern Korea" to 任那, as Yamato's presence covered the entire souther peninsula, which is evident from numerous Japanese invasions or military interventions recorded in Samguk Sagi.

No matter what your nationalist history textbooks say, the actual formation and rise of Baekje took place around the 4th century, which was a product of the collapse of Chinese Commanderies that occupied the middle to northern peninsula (Korea was part of China as usual, and stuff Japan took via the peninsula were provided by them) and by this period, Japan had already been directly interacting with Chinese dynasties through the commanderies. So, it's literally impossible for Japan to be founded by Baekje. This is actually too much of a compensation for the colonial past.
