You posted it. I used to roam around the world of San Andreas for hours. I didn't do any missions, I just roamed. Be it on a bike, a car, or with a plane, I roamed around. I'd listen to K-DST and K Rose. Loads of good memories made there. I used to be a huge fan of Vice City, but GTA SA is just... perfect.
And you're right in saying so. I was more picky and selective with the modifications than most slavs, though. Most people just haphazardly installed various car skins and all sorts of CLEO scripts. I did that, too, but over time, I made it a point to have mods that don't stand out. But every now and then I'd go wild and screw with everything, without a care whether it suits the game. I turned the Hydra plane into a Delorian, and I got CLEO scripts that made it look like the real thing. I made CJ look like Yui from K-ON!
It was a game that kept me entertained for years, it's just so malleable.
