Did it hurt?
Be glad you didn't get 4 shots of .357
Even I used to go to the orthodontist the lady would rest her boobs on my head when she was doing stuff in my mouth, unfortunately it really hurt
Americans get the weirdest drugs from the dentists because they are little pussies.
The last time I got a root shit like you I ended up with half of my face full of infected liquid (pus) and he had to remove a muela (Guug translate it)
haha

>Root canal
2nd worst day of my life. I would of had it pulled, except the tooth was in the front. .
I have fairly sensitive teeth, so despite all the numbing (which it was very much) I still felt a lot. But it wasn't terrible or anything.
Maybe a 7/10 at the worst, and only for a few seconds
I know that feel.
I had some fillings done recently and the dentist drilled a big hole into one of my teeth
It hurt a little bit but it made me nervous
We go to the dentist twice a year, so shit like this doesn't happen.
I think I had about 5 canal total cleaned with some of them being weird (like one very short and another very long, even on the same tooth). This procedure is very exhausting and unsettling but physically it never hurt or there were any aftereffects from anesthetics.
Last time I didn't get any shots at all, just some shit sprayed inside and outside, but this also took several visits
I had to get a tooth pulled because I couldn't afford a root canal (thanks "universal healthcare"). They told me it would take 20 minutes but it ended up taking 3 hours and many shots of novocaine. Apparently I have strong teeth.
my teeth are fucked up in places but it isnt very obvious visually and the pain is minimal despite several of them being craters so i sort of ignore it
i had a few wisdom teeth pulled recently and everyone was "oh that's going to suck after the drugs wear off" but i felt literally no pain except for the injection pricks at the start
i settled with two hard core doses of anesthetics last time. one into the back of the mouth and one local. then the doctor did her work. spent maybe 20 minutes and everything was very comfy. she kept calling me a "good boy" even tho she was clearly younger than me. even put on some classical music when i requested it
The longer you ignore them, the worse it gets.
I have one that's basically missing a quarter now for half a year and it starts to be super-sensitive to heat and cold. Not to mention chunks of food that constantly get stuck.
I had one like that operated recently (and another with a fucked up filling), going to have this one treated as well as soon I my budget and mental trauma recover.
>couldn't afford a root canal
what the fuck canada
I fucked up once I was a kid I didn't told anyone about my broken tooth, had to get root canal to save it, gg no re
since then I go to dentist every 2-3 months because fuck decay, don't ignore stuff just get everything checked out regulary
It only cost 63$ for me lol
But I do have basic dental insurance
I had no insurance. The dentist told me it was $80 for an extraction or $1500 for a root canal. I went with the extraction.
I had same shit 1,5 years ago but whithout any painkillers.
My teeth are in an absolute miserable state because apparently genetics (my dad's teeth more or less disintegrated at around 20, around when mine started) so i visit dentist about once a month to persistently fix what keeps breaking.
So far, 8 root canals, 5 extractions, 4 of which were wisdom teeth and so far, only 5 teeth that STILL do not have a cavity or a filling.
Estimated amount of like 5K€ has gone in my teeth, maybe more because i have lost count a while ago.
Last time i went to a dentist was more than 10 years ago, still healthy.
Should always brush your teeth twice a day folks! :)
>so i visit dentist about once a month to persistently fix what keeps breaking
Wouldn't it be easier to just replace some teeth with artificial ones then?
My incisors got wrecked 7 years ago in an accident. I had to get rct done but I didn't have any particular problems with it. It was extremely boring, though.
You're a little bitch. I made my wisdom teeth done with only novocaine and nitrous as opposed to general anesthesia and I must have gotten close to 20 shots PER SIDE.
Also one of my wisdom teeth was basically on it's side and they had to fucking break it up to get it out. The whole experience is one I'm glad I never have to repeat.
Based.
those days... it hurt for a month I couldn't sleep. Don't drink soda ever since.
