30k

That's below average by a wide margin, probably you are playing the southern unemployment meme

Attached: avg.png (339x641, 29K)

you said first salary out of university, 30k would be very good.

Average is 38K/mo. After tax it's less than half of that ofc.

Wow that's sad, is it even enough to survive in Paris? I'm pretty sure that even average starting salaries in eastern Germany are higher

48k

this is not what your ranking is saying tho.

american tier post

poor post

You all made me feel very good about my 45-55k starting salary (depending on variable salary)

I was afraid I was getting ripped but it turns out I am a true kang

12k reais/month

The majority of university graduates return to their grocery store job and their parents house after graduation

>it turns out I am a true kang
it turns out youre pompous kid

4000000

I was lucky enough to land a 88k/yr 6 months out of school but entry level salary isn't much lower for software engineers. I'll work where i'm at for another few years and then I could reasonably expect to make ~120k

Youre bullshiting me m8

15000 euros

What's your occupation?

1k euros netto is good
2k euros netto is very impressive if not unachieveable

not just for starters

a year? that doesn't sound right

so that's why Greeks don't work, there just isn't a single impressive salary to be found in the entire country

I thought you wrote 150 000, sorry

60k australian as long as you didnt do a meme degree

No I'm not, that's why student debt is such a major problem, it will take until your 40s to pay off 60,000 loan working some trash grocery store or fast food, that's why so many adult Americans still live with their parents

We work, just for 1/3 of the average Western wage

$666

You ruining our dreams about America

You can't afford to buy nice property in Brisbane with that money?

>so many
The figure is 13%
In Southern Europe its like 40

what a fucking retarded post. what field/subject etc?

>muh salary

Why are most Germans so fixed on money and job prestige? Like it's some sort of competition? Kinda tired of this mentality here.
It's all about muh job, muh salary, muh overtime while over 90% are disposable as fuck.

Plus it's a difference when you get out in Law with "Prädikat" (topnotch), some STEM degree or some sort of liberal arts degree. Atleast specify.

Why don't germans own property?

Attached: IMG_8700.jpg (960x684, 168K)

protestant cancer "values"

$666х12=7992
No impressive, but "ok"
But same salary whole year in Russia is a rare thing

a month obviously

because they are thrown out in the street at 18 by their evil g*rmanoids parents and have to work like slaves to pay their rent :)

I make 45k before tax. Will graduate in a semester.

>to work like slaves
That would be Poland

>Why are most Germans so fixed on money
stupid? most people are like "I don't care about money xD there are more important things in life" just like you are, and it's a cultural taboo to talk about how much money you have and earn
I wish more people would care about moeny so I can earn more money myself

the good thing about earning more money is that you will have to work less in the future because you already earned some in the past

220 work days per year * 8 hours = 1760 hours
everyone who works more (without extra pay) is a mega cuck

Can't answer you that. Might be because younger people don't think that much about owning but rather renting. Makes switching places f.e. for work more flexible. In the bigger cities like Hamburg, Munich or Berlin you can barely buy a house anymore since many properties are middle 6 figures up to 7 figures.
The market is not as crazy as in Australia but here it costs a lot to maintain the house. Taxes over taxes, fees over fees for maintaining licenses and maintenance generally. That would be my guess.

It's a shame desu

I don't where you live but whereever I go, parties, Alumnis/school meet ups, birthday parties - it's all about the job and the money in terms of topics. It's maybo taboo talking with your co-workers about it but generally people love to compare their life standards to eachother. If you see it differently, so be it. I made plenty different experiences here

hmm.. full time work here is 40 hours per week, 160 per month, amounting to 1920 annual. seems about right.

>there are 0 holidays a year
stupid

45-60k
Armyfags get that kind of money here, especially in the navy

$12.850 USD per year is quite impressive here fresh out of college/university

I just graduated, and starting my first job next week. I graduated in an engineering field with lots of open positions, and desperate employers: automation.

I will earn 2400 gross + bonuses
This comes down to +/-1850 net.

The best job offer

We get paid for 13,92 months a year though, so this comes down to €25700 a year

The best job offer I received came down to +/- 1850 plus a car and free fuel.
These salaries are defenitely above average for people who just graduated.
I only have a bachelors degree, but a masters would 'only' earn me 300-500 more a month or so.

This. A doctor of medicine earns more than an audiovisual artist fresh out of art school.

Software engineer.

why is your salary so bad
I definitely feel better about my starting salary now
45k means 2100, 55k means 2700 after taxes a month

You still won't be able to buy a home. Enjoy being communist, I guess.

40-50k

>You still won't be able to buy a home

A newly built home costs 5000 Euro in rural Indonesia and a 30 qm flat costs 12000 Euro in Izmir

I will be able to purchase both with the savings of just 12 months work if I want to

I'm talking about Germany.
You can buy a flat in the middle of nowhere, but in a decent place in a city? Nope.

No. He's right. When I was wage slaving last summer as a busser there were college grads waiting tables. One girl majored in Dance.
Majority of people in America are majoring in something retarded like sociology or psychology despite the school saying there are no jobs for this so stop doing this stupid major.
Also these people owe $80k when they graduate so working a shitty job looks good

Attached: IMG_20180219_151311.jpg (3024x4032, 1.99M)

Honestly? I have no clue.
I just looked up some numbers.
Average for engineers (masters) fresh out of school: €3100 gross (€2000 net)

Average for recent graduates in all sectors: €2200 gross

Average for the country, all fields, all ages: €3400 gross

In my field, extra monthly gross salary compared to starters-salary by experience:
5yrs: 400
10yrs: 800
15yrs: 1150
20yrs: 1400
25yrs: 1650

Something like 50k before taxes

This is because people are doing retarded degrees, any undergrad degree in Business or Engineering pays at least 60 grand-- and I'm talking about state schools-- then you save up and do your masters and get a 6 figure job

The average is something like 40-50 so I guess impressive would be 70-80+? It really depends where you live.

Would be impressive to find a job right after uni if anything. My bro spent years in a shitty marketing job and other low tier shit after getting a degree in economics.

based italians living with their parents
