Yea he can. It's called taking advantage and isn't illegal you fucking square. If god forbid the unemployment rate got high enough it was increasing taxes they would reduce welfare and make them get jobs or do free labour for their money as work incentive, so don't worry too much. I'm pretty sure welfare payments take up fuckall of overall tax revenue gained by the government anyway.

Get a trade if you can't find a job. You can even do pre apprenticeships while on the dole to improve chances of getting a shot. Or go labour for a brickie or concreter, that's how you make contacts and if you aren't useless make it known you want an apprenticeship. 4 years on a decent wage if you are over 21 regardless of 1st,2nd year etc and after four years you are a qualified tradesman who no shit go look this up make more than most uni graduates do on average these days. Get fit first it makes it easy going from nothing to physical labour. Plus you'll get big doing most trades and if your lazy become a house painter. They make good cash and are fat fucks w/ easy jobs.

That's how it works everywhere. You could be the smartest person in your field, but unless you have connections, you won't have an easy time finding a job. Soft skills are just as important as hard skills nowadays.

Idk about it him I'm sure he'll be right, but I choose not to work and after a few more months on my tax payer supported holiday I'll go back to sub contracting (I insulate new house solo) good money and plasterer on the side if I'm desperate and broke and have a few jobs available. I live w/ a full time neet and don't judge him because he enjoys his life. Also I think you are being dramatic about welfare failing at least here in Aus people like to work and for those who don't I want them to live good lives too. And it seems to be working out fine here.

australia is different from the nordics. you simply can't let people go off the grid here and not expect it to affect those who do contribute and uphold society. i'd suggest the finn poster to go on a day trip to karelia and see what finland would be like if attitudes like his were to be accepted. that's the disadvantage of the nordic model, it breeds weak people and erases self-preservation

If being neet was gonna fuck my country I'd definitely think twice about it, and if I had a mental health issue affecting me from working, I'd suggest getting on top of that or spending your unlimited free time researching how to use bitcoin and sourcing some benzodiazepines off the deep web or better yet see a doctor to get a script so you can deal w/ work and make more money for cool shit.
