I can do basic stir frys, fried rice/noodles, basic curries (but from curry paste adjusted with some spices) and the usual egg or chicken stuff. I don't eat fish because I hate the smell. Had to learn to cook while living with my mum in Straya. She was doing her masters so after school, I have to cook for my siblings. Mum will do the prep work first though so I only need to do the cooking. She would do a flow chart of the steps and I would follow it. Was 11 y.o. at the time.

Yeah. I don't consider myself really good at it, but I've been complimented by people on doing magic with bland food.
I wanted to make foods the way I, myself, wanted them, at first, and things escalated from there. I toy around with central and southern european foods at times, but I mostly stick to my regions' foods.
