/tropilat/
and /romance/ form time to time

I've seen dixie which is the american south

Québécois often post on /fr/. We actually have Québec hours at around 1 AM UTC.
Also, /carib/ shouldn't include the entire archipel. You'll never see someone from Guadeloupe post there, while we have a Guadeloupean regular on /fr/.

/dixie/
And I can't remember how the Southern Cone general was named

Where is /balt/?

Also, it'd be nice if you added /fug/ (France, UK, Germany). Those threads were comfy for the time they lasted. I also like the Nord/Med friendship threads.

Why is malta under ita?

/isr/

Yeah. Malta should be in mena(please come back)

I mean I've lurked ita before to see if I can read Italian and I've never seen a Maltese posting there. I did post once though.
> Malta should be in mena(please come back)
>please come back
I don't think there's a reason for me to do so.

We have Candians and Maghrebis on /fr/ too, they post on 2 generals.

i put japanese thread
meme
what's nusantara?
what did you change
tropilat?
quebec is in north america, i could put lines over quebec though
yeah forgot dixie
balt+ausnz
malta is the missing link between the arab and european world

/nusantara/ is asean with malaysia, indonesia, brunei and certain singaporean speaks fully malay.
japanese thread the last time I saw was at least three.

Yeah but language threads are less about geographical regions than they are about language.

I wish there was a sub-saharan general desu. Would be interesting but I heard that admins just rangeban african IPs because many people use them as proxies.

what changes did you even make?
here's updated version with /dixie/ /isr/ and hatching for quebec to indicate french majority
>Yeah but language threads are less about geographical regions than they are about language.
it depends, english language generals like /cum/ are about geography mostly because mexico has nothing in common with us

/nusantara/ malay speaker. no english unlike /asean/.
/asean/ is in english because of flips.

we should advertise Jow Forums on nairaland and other african forums

.... What does that have to do with anything?

I agree. There's around 5 million posters on Nairaland, it should be easy to get their attention I guess.

i just think your country is cool
its not really euro or arab, you have semitic language but are catholic

You're missing mammi-pizza

We're more euro than anything but I get you. This is why we don't really belong to any general unless it's /med/ or /southerneurope/

/polska/

/fug/

/mammipizza/

/slav/

/romance/

/urss/

/rus/

/skandi/

>This is why we don't really belong to any general
yeah that was my point
you're relatively unique on an ethno-cultural-linguistic level in the context of europe, kinda like the basque, you dont really fit into a broader group except in a geographic sense
most of these are just temporary duos/combos though
and /cis/ is the same thing as /ussr/
is that in english?

>is that in english?
What?
It's Scandinavian, and the language there is Scandinavian.

yes, we are our own thing. Pls don't associate us with Mexicans, southern Andeans and Southern Coners

i thought danes couldnt read swedish and vice versa

belize is apart of /carib/

>florida
lol im not drawing the generals based on cubano immigrants in miami, florida is part of /dixie/
understood

Danes can read Swedish, And Swedes can read Danish.
Danes can read Norwegian and Norwegians can read Danish.
Norwegians can read Swedish and Swedes can read Norwegian.

All three languages come from the same language old norse, and the modern languages of today is kinda just the same language still. We all can read each other languages with no issues.

But there is an issue when we speak the language, apparently the Norwegians and the Swedes can't understand spoken Danish. Danes oftentimes can't understand them either, but I think the issue is more on their side and not so much on ours (I guess danish is kinda fucked up?)

Should include France in /mena/

There was an African general, no? It was mainly used by diasporafags, but still.

single country generals should be b& to be quite fair

and nederlan, sweden, uk, usa.

Haven't seen /cis/ in a while, it's only /rus+bel+ukr/ now.

Make us both orange and yellow, we go in both /lat/ and /cum/

> cubano immigrants
You are aware that FL is a stronghold of large Colombian, Venezuelan, Dominican and Puertorican communities besides Cubans, aren't you?

Yeah, which kinda sucks for me because I belong nowhere here.

/ka/

/afr/

Fixed

/balt/+/ausnz/ are usually separate generals now, too. Although, no aussies or kiwis seem to post in /ausnz/ anyway.

/balt/+/ausnz/ is dead, put ausnz under /brit/
add /isr/
add Israel, Turkey, and Iran as half members of /mena/ (like in )
