I know i'm pretty disappointed so far. You don't meet anybody because it just turn up to classes once per day and fuck off home and IT is boring as shit and I'm not even any good at it.

Its been deregulated a shitload lately because muh free market so a degree at the shitty uni im going to costs about 20 grand. But you only have to pay it back once you're making 44k a year or more.

He's right though. If you're like me, you'll just stop attending classes after a while and be filled with regrets.
If you study history, you could still become a history teacher, or find something along the way. You'll have to deal with the subject for at least 3 years, remember that and it's way harder to read stuff you absolutely don't care about.

yeah its kind of started to happen. I can see in theory how coding and getting around on a command line is cool but i don't give a single shit about it and don't really want to base my life around making as much money as i can. The only problem with history though i i really don't want to be a teacher and it would be pretty easy to get trapped into that.

Ehhh it's good as pace of paper for gov jobs that says "i Know how to write and do reports". Most cases you don't go into history.
