I'm trying to learn Portuguese but that ao sound is pissing me off. Nao is not pronounced like now, instead it's this weird nasal sound that I cannot do and it's making me quit.

also trying to improve my spanish
Also tried French, which I've learned a bit of, but I've become disheartened by hearing French people speak, since they speak so fucking quickly that it's just too intimidating. Wish there was something easier for a Spanish/English speaker.

I don't know what's wrong with learning Nederland. There are a lot of loan words from that language and it makes me easier to learn that. It's also just a bridge for me to learn Deutsche in the future.
Mein Deutsch ist mittlere(?) aber ich weiß nicht weiter zu lernen
Dutch sounds awful but it's the third most spoken [primarily] first world language behind English and German, go ahead and stick with it but if you're just learning it for German I'd skip to German
>can speak English well enough to explain what exactly I need at grocery store
motivate me to learn some dying language like Italian
Honestly you're best off just improving your English to a fluent level, if you don't have motivation to learn a language then you're just going to quickly give up.
isn't that the same with english since you were colonized by the british empire
Ⰳⰾⰰⰳⱁⰾⰺⱌⰰ, English, French
...you speak English and Spanish while living in Canada and you're complaining about French and Portuguese being too hard?
bruh, I just don't think you're cut out for language learning.
Korean, but I haven't learnt much more than the alphabet.
That's just one reason of many reasons though. I just want to learn many languages, and I just think that Dutch might help me for learning Germany. I probably will pick French after this though.
Italian... it's so easy that become hard.
I think ur right!! fuck other languages they can die
I still don't know what language to learn. Throughout the years I have tried many languages, but never stuck with one. I believe if I left the bubble of learning materials and just started reading things I'm interested in(even if I don't understand it in its entirety) I would enjoy language learning a lot more.
I'm improving my English in order to be able to read any /lit/ book without a dictionary.
But I also study Japanese. Sometimes I feel like studying French as well, but I'd give up too soon since I barely have time for two.
German. Fuck that language.
