He still rents!

>He still rents!

Why are normies such retards when it comes to finance?

I pay $400/month for a huge condo in downtown Chicago because I know people. I rent.

I’m not committing to a fucking 35+ year contract for a house until I’m certain I’ll be in that area for that long (ie wife, Kids, career).

You look like such a faggot buying a home so early. Good luck getting married bro. If any woman marries you she’ll be doing it for your house.

>he's tied down to one location for pretty much life

Lmao at your life cuck

Freedom is an asset. Renting provides freedom.

>housing market on the hedge of crash
>buying house
ok lad

The very fact that those sluts would agree with you - should show you where you are at. How about you buy some ROPE and end it. Today

lmao dumb fucking goyim think they aren't renting the house from the bank and renting the land from the government

This. And also I'll be renting a house as soon as I can just to get out of my parents house while I accumulate money and work on credit. Ideally I would like to buy a house in cash but I'm also not getting much poon living at my parents house.

Mortgage means death contract, have fun with your subprime death contract OP

Whether or not renting is wise entirely depends on the area you live and how long you're gonna stay there. For where I live I'd have to be willing to commit to living here for about 3.5 years before buying is more financially optimal. I have no interest in making that commit. FURTHERMORE, the 3.5 years is based on regular house value appreciation consistent with the last handful of years compared against very conservative stock market gains. In all likelihood with the investment success I've been having there's never any point at which buying is more optimal than renting.

Normies will always think of you as a loser if you rent.

>wife
>Good luck getting married bro
holy shit, you can't be serious?

I know, right? I just bought a $4MM apt in NYC w/ my crypto gains. Got just enough for the down payment and said fuck it, I'll make it work. Shit will be worth $20MM in 10 years and I'll retire. Been sucking a lot of dick to pay off the $18k/month in mortgage & property taxes but it's worth it.

>sees thread with 200+ replies
>makes exactly the same thread because muh not normie muh think for myself

that's why normies stay poor, they buy things they can't afford

I locked my rent in for 25 years, good luck with yours going up

How big is that huge condo? Do you have it to yourself even? I wagecuck in chicago and want a condo with lakeviews for my tinder pics

>buying a apt/condo
I seriously hope you don't do this, at least buy a house.

COPE

Who gives a fuck about normies?

>want my own property

>Don't want to be tied down to a mortgage

What do biz?

>buying property at ATH
Nice try, boomer

>huge condo in downtown Chicago
>$400/month

nice try, friend

>renting is freedom
>your 30 year mortgage means you're going to live there forever

Since this is a crypto board, I shouldn't be surprised to see such retarded shit...but it still surprises me.
If you're not retarded you will never be upside down on a mortgage... you could move every few years and still continue to build equity. Property is the easiest way to grow your wealth.

People regularly have to come up with $50+k sums of money when renegotiating loans if prices drop. Buying a house with (((their))) money is only a good decision when prices are increasing, financial illiterates will lose everything when they go down.

That will never be a problem if you know what you can afford.

you only say this because you have been living in a market where property has been appreciating like crazy year after year.
What happens in a bear market?
I can't afford to be leveraged 4 or 5x (yes five times my income in Toronto for a reasonable place to live).

Yeah. Because giving your jew bank money for 20 years is so much better, right?

lol just imagine someone living their life just to look cool for the normies. 0 fucks given what they think

>Used to own a house in the burbs.
>Split with gf. Sold house as she had her name on it. Sold at market peak.
>Renting in city whilst waiting for market to dip and slaying bitches
>huge market dip
>buying a place in a few months for 100k under what it was worth 2 years ago.

Saving money this way.

>Normies will always think of you as a loser if you rent
Nigga I could have a damn mansion and they would still think I'm a loser due to my looks and personality; so what?

>I know people
Rough translation: family member is giving me a good deal while I wagecuck at McDonald’s on Michigan Ave.

A culture becomes great when a generation plants trees whose fruits it will never see.
