Tunisia unfortunelty only had three official presidents.

The first one was Bourguiba, a good president at first until, he set us in the right direction even though he didnt let a tunisian scientist start a nuclear plant program that could made tunisia much better... and killed many of his adversers setting up much of the corruption, oh and also he was a french dog.

Ah, that goes for many african countries like ethiopia, somalia, mali, ghana, and egypt. We were once powerful in the continent, but now we're plagued by dictatorship, poverty, tribalism, corruption, and drought. africa was never the best but it's certainly at it's lowest now.

Ethiopia has had a long monarchy called the Solomonic dynasty, since they were the decadents of king Solomon himself. They were wise and nationalist, and one of the best monarchies out there. however a communist coup got us our first president, Mengistu Haile Mariam, one of the worst leaders in all of history. He destroyed the economy, caused Eritrea, Tigray, Oromo, and Afar to fight for their independence, and killed so many people needlessly. We almost lost Ogaden to Somalia due to his poor leadership despite being a military general. Then one of the fighters for Tigray independence named Meles Zenawi switched sides and then defeated Mengistu (and Mugabe invited him to stay in Zimbabwe, what an ass), Meles was half Tigray half Eritrean, and gave Eritrea the old colonial borders which they didn't even fight for, and landlocked Ethiopia. He also installed a tribalist government and let Tigrays be dominant over the rest of us. After his death in Belgium, Hailemariam Desalegn was put into power, and he was just his non Tigray puppet. Hailemariam resigned recently, and an Oromo Abiy Ahmed was put into power. I think the Tigrays got afraid that they'd be killed like the Tutsis in Rwanda. He's been amazing so far, let's just hope he's not another puppet. Amazing how Meles still rules from the grave,
Idk about other countries, but in mena, its the late 80s soviet invasion in afghanistan that spiralled all of mena problems, when radicalism started growing and then in the 90s when westernization became bad.
most of mena went from progressive to conservative and the communities started changing slowly to worse..some becoming degenarates because of +90s westernization and some as i said radicalists.

I guess you could say I'm atheist. I don't really believe in any religions since to me the evidence is that they're just ancient stories. Is the universe some creation of a being beyond our comprehension or a simulation? I don't know, and I don't think anybody can know. So it doesn't really matter. I appreciate the good things religions did though, like maintaining community and establishing a tradition. I'm more sympathetic to pagans though, organized religion was just a way to control and squeeze the impoverished peasants for even more money.
