Yeah, more or less.

What a FUCKING RIP OFF
The movie wasn't about a Kangaroo, the title character showed up for a total of 90 seconds, he couldn't even talk despite what the trailer showed and instead it was about some Australian mafia

croiky

THE KANGAROO GOT THE MONEY

Yeah, we've got one in Sydney.

>mfw I found out you have fucking Outback Steakhouse

seriously? that's disgusting

I think they were the franchise that used to have a barrel of peanuts in shells that customers could freely grab handful from. That was removed after a couple of legal cases involving personal injury. Might have been a different franchise, though, so don't quote me on it.

>mfw peanuts are banned in australia due to related injuries

most of those franchises like starbucks and outback steakhouse theres just a meme one or two in Sydney or Melbourne

Want a kinder egg they ar- Oh

Hold up, it wasn't Outback Steakhouse but Lonestar. Is that also an American chain?
Looks like Western Australia got them later than we did.

>A Perth father's call to remove free peanuts off tables at a local restaurant has triggered debate on the line between personal responsibility and public safety when it comes to food allergies.
Those peanut kids fucking ruin everything.
>A spokeswoman for Cockburn Gateway, which houses Lone Star, said the playground was in a public space and "we would expect parents with children who have severe food allergies to take the same precautions just like in any other public space".
Cockburn Gateway. Noice.

We have multiple chains that do that, believe it or not. Texas Roadhouse and Five Guys burgers come to mind.

As in they provide free nuts or that they removed the nuts?
On the handful of occasions we went to those steakhouses as kids, the peanuts were the most enjoyable part of eating out.

no
this is

>starbucks
Really? They have like 986451984651 locations everywhere else so I was expecting Australia to be the same.

They provide free nuts. Lone Star Steakhouse is an American chain. For some reason I was thinking it was Texas Roadhouse that did the nuts and not Lone Star, though. Texas Roadhouse has orgasmic butter rolls.

I live in one of the most flyoveriest of flyover states here and we rarely get national chains unless they are some of the biggest (obvious ones like Walmart, McDonald's, etc). We had a Five Guys burger place open up so naturally I went on opening night along with fucking half of the city of 120,000. The line was stretching out the door on a bitterly cold night. I hadn't eaten anything at all that day in anticipation, ate too many peanuts while having to stand in line for an hour, and when I finally got my food I couldn't finish all of it.

We have 36 Starbucks stores, apparently.

Starbucks went bankrupt here, now there's only a few. The coffee is shit so people only buy it for the novelty.

Yeah I think so. I know it was my first look at Australia and Australian culture. A game changing movie

god in human form

>Starbucks went bankrupt here
Check out all the (closed) entries. Top kek.

What do you guys do for coffee then?

We have an insane amount of independent cafes

This is a little more accurate, to be honest.
youtube.com/watch?v=0RjC-vh06_c

Coffee? Make it or buy it from a coffee shop, I guess. What does Starbucks have to do with coffee?

local wog-owned cafes innit

>innit
The UK. Different side of the planet.

s-sorry

Why are you eating us?

I remember feeling like that after watching the movie as a kid. All I wanted to see was the kangaroo talking like Scooby Doo.

Eat or be eaten, really. Roos are vicious native apex predators.

More or less probably.

wild pigs do accually fuck up so much shit

what?
youtube.com/watch?v=wgVN33-ykiM

Wild pigs are nuts, man. You guys should call in the army to deal with them.

I went to a national park for school once and the ranger there said they can completely destroy i think 9 square metres in a night.
They literally fly around with helicopters spotting them to kill them

Do you say this in response to whaling? lmao

I spoke to a Japanese guy and he randomly started to go on about whaling and how it's fine and that Australians eat Kangaroo...
