Why do Russians tend to centralized power and authoritarianism? One can argue that is due to the orthodox church, but you can see that Greece and other Orthodox countries haven't really followed this pattern. I mean, you can see that never in Russian history, you had a minimal state and a government that trusted the citizens enough to promote free enterpreneurship like in the West

It is coz we had retards in government who tried to build fucking communism for 70 years. And now people just don't give a fuck how should modern country looks like they think like "we had totalitarian government before all the fucking history and it's okey that we have it even now"

They hate every and all things but fear only some, like Putin.
They are inclined to destroy things they don't fear but submit like puppies to that which they do fear.
An electoral democracy is thus impossible since Russians couldn't possibly fear any part of such a system so they would thus attempt to destroy it and let a sufficiently autocratic and intimidating figure rise to power.

Because we had no experience of good working liberalism and freedom and we want the government to do all the work for us. And take all the responsibility from us.
