Forgot to eat my whole raw fish this morning.
I'm interested in getting into Marvel kino. What are the best MCU films to watch for someone whose only experience with it was Iron Man in the cinemas in 2008?
Shame on you lad, you're missing valuable protein.
Not baiting.
Just watch the rest of the them in order. There's a few you can skip like Hulk, Iron Man 3 and Ant-Man without really needing them to understand the later sequels.
Post it to /tv/ and see if you'll be recognised as "not" baiting.
The short answer to your question is that it's not a "continuity" in a real sense, the closest you "need" to a continuity is understanding who each character is supposed to be. Most of that will already be present from osmosis, there isn't really any advanced "canon" that applies to superheroes beyond the premise, in most cases, which can be summed up in one sentence.
The only continuity I'm aware of is the fact that the "Avengers" are an organised group, and some shit about Captain America getting false-flagged.
I haven't watched any off these films at all, I just watch the RLM reviews.
>Post it to /tv/ and see if you'll be recognised as "not" baiting
/tv/ is cape central though.
>The only continuity I'm aware of is the fact that the "Avengers" are an organised group, and some shit about Captain America getting false-flagged
And the Cosmic Stones.
>I just watch the RLM reviews
Wew.
Why would you do that to yourself?
>/tv/ is cape central though.
/tv/ is irony central
>And the Cosmic Stones.
Never heard of them before this one.
>Wew.
Wew yourself.
AA, what are your goals and ambitions?
>Never heard of them before this one
They've been around since Thor to varying degrees.
Evening lad(ies), how was ye're day? Do anything exciting?
Mine was shit, for the record.
What happened?
>when you're now old enough to be a museum exhibit
feels bad, lads
>What happened?
Stuff. More importantly, how was your day?
I want an hour by hour summary of what you did desu, or else.
Mediocre. I have so much unitoil to do, and none of it is coming.
Going to get drunk now lol.
Physical activity had lunch with the gf at a restaurant and was afterwards surprised by her parents, needless to say, that I was caught off-guard, very awkward desu
>Stuff.
Told you my normie story now it's your turn, my Irish friend
Have fun, what are you drinking?
Stella Artois Cider and some pilsner
>Evening lad(ies), how was ye're day?
Boring.
>how was ye're day?
Awful but not the worst.
>Do anything exciting?
Nein.
Anyone else in the other thread?
>not the worst
Small bit of joy and peace of mind in that at least.
>Nein
>not killing the Galway bourgeois every moment you get
>Boring
Better than stress at least. Did you not have much work or was it just one of those many boring days?
>Physical activity
What kind desu? Gym?
>lunch with the gf at a restaurant
Sounds comfy. Nice meal?
>was afterwards surprised by her parents
How did that happen? Did she invite them to where you were or did you just run into them?
>very awkward desu
I'm sure they thought you were a nice boy.
>now it's your turn
No no, doesn't work like that.
There's another thread?
>participating in other threads
I think he means the irish language thread, but I could be totally wrong.
>>not killing the Galway bourgeois
I don't want to get sent to the camps, they make you cut turf there.
Plans for the Irish weekend?
>What kind desu? Gym?
I'm forced to go to the gym because I still can't pressure my knee too much, yes
>Sounds comfy. Nice meal?
Indeed, what did you have for lunch?
>did you just run into them?
Exactly
>No no, doesn't work like that.
Oh,but it does
Good taste desu
>Plans for the Irish weekend?
I have to meet my sister for "brunch" in a reservation only place in south Dublin. I'm told it'll be quite the experience.
>they make you cut turf there
Which county has the best quality turf and the most of it? Galway or Mayo?
>what did you have for lunch
Hibernian chicken.
>Oh,but it does
Don't think so desu.
>Plans for the Irish weekend?
Setup/fix computer, buy parts for computer, play CK2, watch some FranXX, decide what I'm doing about Steins;Gate, try to get back to my VNs.
>image
Makes no sense.
>have to
Being forced to in a bad way or are you just enjoying a nice day out?
>eating in a fancy restaurant when it's not a special occasion
The height of notions.
Finished the second Wheel of Time book.
I voted (we're voting for the local council in England), roasted my creative writing lecturer's book and screamed in horror as my cat got into a tub of soft cheese and ate most of it like the animal she is. And later tonight I'm gonna watch My Fair Lady with the SO. Good shit.
Impressive, very nice.
Those are some very angular faces.
>Which county has the best quality turf
I'm not an expert on regional turf quality I'm afraid.
>and the most of it?
Mayo I think.
A bit of obligation, it's her birthday and I offered to take her out for lunch as any good sibling should but she wanted brunch instead.
I'm not very familiar with brunch culture in Dublin but seemingly it involves alcohol and loud music.
Wheel of Time sounds like a poetic term for a clock.
>it involves alcohol and loud music.
Like everything in Dublin.
>>Which county has the best quality turf
Uíbh Fhailí
Was it good?
>I voted
Good lad, hope you made the right choice.
>cat got into a tub of soft cheese and ate most of it
Is she sick now desu?
>but seemingly it involves alcohol and loud music
Dubs sure are strange desu. Thought it would more be about pancakes in some bright warm place with nice warm drinks.
>seemingly it involves alcohol and loud music
That doesn't sound like brunch at all, your sister is up to something. Stay alert.
Is Galway or Mayo better? Be honest, thought I know it'll be a struggle.
>your sister is up to something
Lewd.
I did. And nah, apparently soft cheese is fine for them in small portions, and I guess she didn't eat that much. The worst that can happen is diarrhoea, and she gets that all the time anyway despite my best efforts.
>roasted my creative writing lecturer's book
How did they respond?
I called out some writing that was apparently by a "big name" in a class once and got a bit of an awkward silence.
Jaggy doesn’t understand this patrician reference.
He said up "to" something, not up "for" something.
Some of the stuff is breakfasty but it appears you're supposed to have cocktails and a dessert with it.
sanlorenzos.ie
Looks terrible desu, mainly because I saw how much everything cost.
Do enjoy yourself though, hope you have fun and make sure you report back.
Your sister work in Dublin?
Oh no, I didn't roast it to her face, just to my SO. I still need her to give me a good mark, after all. But yeah, fair enough, some big name writers are a bit shit. I do get dirty looks if I ever talk shit about Harry Potter; uni students love that shit more than their own family.
>non-dubs amazed by the concept of brunch
Sad. Try leaving the countryside once in a while and realizing there’s more to food than a chicken fillet roll.
t. Typical Dub.
How did you vote in the local elections, today?
>Do enjoy yourself though, hope you have fun and make sure you report back.
I'll try.
>Your sister work in Dublin?
Unfortunately, yes. She lives in Kildare so has that typical daily commute nightmare you hear about.
I've survived this long without Coco pops crunchy french toast desu
>get a question about the Plough and the Stars author in the LC
>go off on a rant about him being a pretentious communist who thought his ideology made him superior
>pass with flying colours
>A little note, whilst we do our utmost to look after all customers, please be aware that our brunch is a busy and fast service with loud(ish) music. If you fancy a quiet brunch and a read of the newspapers, the brunch of champions is probably not for the place for you.
What's the bloody point then?
"Sunday lunch" or even just regular carvery in a pub or hotel is better than this west brittery.
>some big name writers are a bit shit. I do get dirty looks if I ever talk shit about Harry Potter
Oh, I meant those with literary pretensions. HP is fantasy pulp, and it's cringey for JK Rowling to retroactively gaslight everyone into thinking the work is "woke", when it's actually a more feminine, more childish retreading of narcissistic romantic-era cliches, a la Star Wars' recycling of older tropes.
>What's the bloody point then?
I'm not entirely sure but if I had to guess I'd go with that it's like a bar for middle class people at a time of the day when it's not yet socially acceptable to be drinking in a bar.
It was alright
I said John B Keane was a lazy hack and a worse than mediocre writer whose only claim to fame was his willingness to attack rural culture through crude caricature.
>the Plough and the Stars author
>O'Casey was born at 85 Upper Dorset Street, Dublin, as John Casey, the son of Michael Casey, a mercantile clerk, and Susan Archer.[1] His family background was "shabby genteel", and not, as often assumed, the working-class culture in which his plays are set. His parents were Protestants and he was a member of the Church of Ireland, baptised on 28 July 1880 in St. Mary's parish,[2] confirmed at St John the Baptist Church in Clontarf,[3] and an active member of Saint Barnabas until his mid-twenties,[3] when he drifted away from the church.
Ah yes, Quintissential Irishness.
ALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART
Oh shit the alart's going. Something dangarous could happen.
Most comfortable, have fun, and make sure to bring condoms
Have you been there before?
Are we really this naive? Have the knackers taught us nothing?
>Most comfortable, have fun, and make sure to bring condoms
Not everybody has that sort of relationship with their sister, Lux.
Keks?
The most untrustworthy people would not tell a surveyor the truth.
>The most untrustworthy people would not tell a surveyor the truth.
That would certainly explain Finland.
I didn't say that, but maybe he has a spontaneous encounter with someone at the omelette stand
>Not even the French trust the French
>2018
>trusting people
I seriously hope you guys don't do this
Would be cool to have a gun with a hand-shaped handle, and a sleeve that looks like a gun.
>but maybe he has a spontaneous encounter with someone at the omelette stand
>trusting the omelette lady
>>Not even the French trust the French
Reminds me.
/tv/ is wild
So what other boards or imageboards do people here browse?
/a/, Jow Forums, /v/, /vg/. 8ch on occasion.
>8ch on occasion
Which parts?
/v/ mainly. Have ""some"" actually interesting threads from time to time on more niche games that I find interesting.
/x/ and Jow Forums
that is all
/vg/, /vr/, /cgl/, sometimes /sp/
For me, it's /a/, /vr/, [s4s], Jow Forums, /his/, Jow Forums and /sp/
/jp/, /qa/ and Jow Forums could potentially be good boards but they're ruined by their userbases
Oh, thought maybe you were into some weird stuff or something.
>sigh
Grow up. That one might be you, whoever you are, but the others aren't. Someone is samefagging on levels unheard of. Get a grip or I'll kill you.
>le howth le shitting it and le not want fight
Please, you faggots. You wouldn't last in my presence. I literally have no empathy (new age poppycock) and would stamp on your head vigorously. I would make that scene in American History X look like a party.
HAHAAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAJAHAAJAJAAHAHHHHAHAHAJAJAJAHA
KIERAN'S MAMMY IS BULLYING HIM AGAIN AND HE TAKE IT OUT ON LE HOWTH THEHRHEHHEEHEH
FUCK JEWNIPER TOO, CHOKE ON YOUR VOMIT YOU TRACKSUIT-WEARING NIGGER. GO SUCK OFF ELLEN, YOU QUEERS.
I AM THE ONLY REAL IRISHMAN LEFT, PAISLEY WAS MORE IRISH THAN YOU LOT.
/v/, Jow Forums and occasionally /tv/, /mu/ and /a/
Any of you fine gentlemen into Disgaea? 5 is coming to PC soon, and I was going to get it.
Played a bit of it on the Switch and had the Prinny game for the PSP if that counts
Have you played it before?
I saw some people play 5 on youtube last year then bought 1 to try. Played it for a bit then stopped mostly because it seemed like they'd improved things a lot through the series.
Enjoying a vape after work. A nice healthy relaxing treat.
I'm the best at war thunder in this general.
I found 5 to be quite enjoyable,at least the parts I played,I also enjoy their pixelated art they use
Do you smoke as well?
I'm quite into it and srpgs, I've played all the mainline ones except for 4.
5 is a really great game, good story and by far the strongest mechanically in the series.
The engine and mechanics have improved iteratively with each edition so there's an awful lot of QoL type things that have improved since 1.
I never smoked, no.
Why do Irish people here speaks in English? Don't you have your own Irish language?
keep failing nofap
>an awful lot of QoL type things
I think you needed to reincarnate into an upgraded version of your class when you got one, but apparently it just happens automatically in 5 (may have in earlier versions too).
Any mlg pro tips? I've looked on the wiki a bit for some information since there seems to be a lot of it. I know about the item world (though it may have changed) and the bonus gauge, and apparently tower attacking fills up the bonus gauge super fast.
...
>posting in a thread full of Brits and LARPers
No thanks.
>Windows wants to update again
If you're not a "larper", you're a brit.
