>south dakota

What a scam
I wouldn't pay anything above 100k for that.

Especially considering it's in fucking SD, which is far from prime real-estate

Ugly house

South Dakota fun fact:
They will not release information on license plates to third parties. Which means when driving in other states, you can blow through redlight cameras, and wizz past speed cameras with impunity.

A square meter of land costs 1.7 million usd here

You couldn't pay me 150K to live in South Dakota

You'd have to pay me to move there.

thinking of moving to the countryside and buying a 20 bed mansion for $100k, then converting to Mormonism/Islam and marrying four wives desu

You seem to know very little about American architecture

That’s not a brick house.
That’s a brick covered house, exclusive to America.

because it is, in montgomery, new york
lol

My family owns more land than there is in all of Denmark lmao

>amerimutts will never know the feeling of your own private castle on a small island
only richfags know this feel and im sure many rich americans own castles in yurope

nah, more like trailers

1. this is in america
2. OP's picture is a brick house

Seems a bit of a pain. Gotta take a boat everytime you want to commute or get groceries.

poorfag detected
If you're wealthy enough to own your own island and castle, you have your own food shipped with your personal grocery shopper. You can come to a plaza in a rich area here and see a bunch of flips with papers telling them what to buy for their Masters.

the largest property in canada is 1416 km2

it's great, whenever some container ships sail by i fire up my cannon and sink them

>let me tell you about your country
nah we all actually live on small isolated islands with our own castle and navy
here's my other island btw

Attached: france-tide-2_ng-list-article-p.jpg (670x447, 41K)

what the fuck do you do? just use bricks? your house is insulated you moron, bricks don't insulate, there's something else in your walls unless you live in a hovel

>mont st michel
youre not funny bucko

>being a rude chink

Silly pleb. The largest property attributed to a single person, perhaps. If you are unaware, for a few hundred dollars you can create a corporation and purchase whatever you want and have full privacy and discretion.

shut the fuck up you obnoxious elliot tier freak

well my dinner table is older than your country
btfo

What's wrong with it?

I remain unconvinced by your failure to get quads. If you would kindly post your legs in thigh highs I may be willing to cure you of your virginity if you meet my standards.

virginity isnt a problem of mine
mind redistributing a bit of that wealth you've got?

Dude, there is thousands of mansions and villas for sale in europe because the population is aging fast.
And they are not made of cardboard paper, some are old than your country.

my dinner table is an antique from before confederation too
not that impressive its just an old hunk of wood
why do europoors venerate old shit?

Lucky them.

Attached: vancouver housing market.png (1135x603, 788K)

holy shit is that 1/2 lot?

>3 bedrooms
>2 bathrooms
Not in that square. Even being a saltbox stile, there is no much space considering that there is trees in the end of the lot.

There is a large basement complex you silly monkey

Do people live in basements? I mean, it should be a damp considering that the house was build in the 30's.

33x122 lot, standard in vancouver

the value is in the property as it's located in Point Grey. it's worth 2.83million as of june 2017.

That house there is only good for being a crack den or a sex slave dungeon by the looks of it

What is your government doing to prevent that more wealth chinese buy half canada?

Man, i don't think a crack head can afford that. The ones who i see around can't afford shoes...

nothing specific. foreign buyers, those that are not residents are about 5% of the owned property. there is a 20% tax on buyers without a residency permit but that didn't do much. it's mostly local buyers tripping over themselves trying to buy property. but the mortgage rates and amounts have gone up so it's really cooling the market now. nobodies got any more access to cheap credit.

They tried to implement some sort of tax for foreigners trying to buy property. It barely helps cause they just conspire with people already in country to bypass it.

Holy fuck.

that's so depressing
at least the east coast still has normal housing prices
and no toronto is not the east coast

Nice.

This is some of the most expensive houses in my city (just looked one website).
1 Real (R$) = 0,28 USD Dollars.

Attached: Screenshot from 2018-05-03 23-04-24.png (988x593, 443K)

neither will you, mr. "i live in an apartment complex with my mom"

>all that worthless stuff not even serving a purpose
>"B-BUT ITS OLD SO ITS WORTH KEEPING"
sure showed us.

not depressing for me, i own my own place and I've made a lot of money.

What age?

Congratulation to you, but its worrying that the generation that are kids now are entirely fucked when it comes to getting their own place 10-15 years down the line if this continues.

36

they'll have to do what everyone else does who can't afford the city, move somewhere they can afford and put down roots there. gentrification, if you can't afford it move out for someone who can.

I hope that's a fake

Why are you still on Jow Forums?

Also, congratulations. I hope you are married and have a couple of children at this point.

Thing is they aren't building affordable housing anymore. Where I live out in the suburbs the developers are all putting up 3,000sqft house subdivisions where the lowest you'll get in is around $800k, and worse all the old houses in the area are going for around the same rate as well.

i like shitposting and staying up to date with my meme's don't judge me.

because nobody wants affordable housing. developers will build whatever makes them the most money and there were a lot of people out there with a lot of money to buy whatever they were building. if you can't afford a detached, go for a condo or a townhouse. you can still get those for less then 300k in the burbs.

How do you guys feel about 2 bed homes for 30k?

>don't judge me.
I don't. 26 yo here, coming for the human heat...

Good night Jow Forums, tomorrow is another day for us.

Neither will anyone in Australia or Canada.
Though to be honest I wouldn't even know how to handle living in a place that large. 90% of the space would end up entirely unused.

Does it get internet? Would be a pain in the arse going back and forth for groceries, as awesome as it looks.

Just rent out each room to a different student/poorfag and go live in a 1 bedroom apartment then. It will pay for itself and more.

>What is your government doing to prevent
Their government is the reason why it can happen, you tard. They profit from foreigners buying up property due to higher taxes on everything involved. It's the same reason why foreign investors and massive property developers can get approval to buy blocks of land while individual citizens are fucked over.

You sound like one of those retards who blame China for American companies opting to offshore jobs while making massive profit in the process.

>living with other people
Ahaha
no.

Attached: Boldt-Castle-ad-image2.jpg (2286x1194, 2.44M)

We can buy islands and build castles
Do you own a castle?

>a lot of people out there with a lot of money to buy whatever they were building
Doesn't seem to me like anyone wants the houses they're building either. Everyone's just trying to flip, I've seen 4 families go through a single house on my street in the past 6 years. Shit can't keep going on like this, we're just gonna end up with a bunch of overpriced property nobody actually wants.

I SAID RENT EVERY ROOM OUT FROM THAT >HOUSE< AND GO LIVE IN A >SEPARATE< APARTMENT

rental vacancy is less the 1% in Vancouver. number of unoccupied properties are less then 5%. people are living in the properties.

Why live in an apartment when you could just own your own home?

why are they so expensive bro

What do I need 20 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms for?
Mortgage there is $560/mo
If I rent out each room for $1000, that's $20,000 a month. $240k a year off renting it alone. Even if I subtract utilities and mortage from it, I should still be earning $220k-$230k a year. All without working a single hour.

nobody knows. demand>supply is the only general answer.

I don't mean that house I just mean why be a tenant in another property for someone else? Why not just buy another home for yourself?

lmao retard, if you don't know anything about our real estate, at least take a look the OP pic, what is that house made of?

dumb ass, do you use pure brick as a frame or what? sounds retarded.

Did you miss the point? About the price? Hello?

>murrimutts will never know this feeling

Attached: 2.png (900x674, 659K)

vancouver doesn't represent canada

>1800000
neither will you. some saudi businessman might though ;)

You need to put probably ten times the amount into the castle to make it inhabitable and spend a good amount each year to keep it that way. Don't let the seemingly low price fool you.

>a single room in south dakota for $1000

lol dude try $300-400 at the very most
