Rejecting Islam and becoming non-religious is fine imo but I have never seen someone who converted from Islam to a different Abrahamic religion. Care to elaborate as to why you took such a decision? What were your incentives to convert to Orthodox christianity?

First of all, i do not like the fact that in order to pray to God i have to do so in a language i do not understand, its not my language or the language of my ancestors. Church Slavonic is 70% understandable at worst, because we use too many turkish and german words in our own language for which we dont have a name yet.
Second, probably should be the first, i hate the enchantments, spells and who knows what the hodzha does for money, not just one, but probably all of them. It is witchcraft, not religion. Putting and lifting curses off someone.
Third, although i understand fasting is important and the effects are spiritual and mental apart form physical, but i cannot comprehend the ban on eating a certain animal. The only reason the Islamic prophet didnt want people to eat the 'dirty' animal is because it was kept in dirty conditions thus became infected with deadly bacteria and worms.
Fourth, i hate the tribalism here, there are no nations here, only tribes, and the tribe i belong to had the least identity which is the reason it took islam to be left alone, not because the old Bogumil church, or whatever it was is claimed here to be same as islam, which is a blatant lie by the islamic teachers that try their best to justify our ancestors bending over to the invaders for God knows which time thus marking us as the only islamic Slavs which is a disgrace.
Most importantly, choosing a religion, having faith, is not like going to the store and choosing a brand of shoes and becoming a staunch wearer of that brand.
Religion comes to you, it feels right, it feels as i was destined to be a part of it. It feels liberating, in spite of what others will say
My own ancestors whom my grandpa had a record of, knew all the names and surnames converted to Islam 380 years ago. Before that, all Slavic names and St. Eliah as patron saint, meaning Perun as patron god back in the pagan days.
