I see far too many Brexit refugees here in California, every time I go out these days I have to hear their accent.
When will they learn? We only want nonwhite immigrants ffs.
We haven't left the European Union.
California's hypothetical ranking in the world's economy has nothing to do with Brexit.
Rangeban Canada.
No california is just doing really well
>the EU wasn't to blame when the UK lost a trillion dollars in 2008
>the UK is to blame for dipping within the margin of error in 2018
eurotard logic
Why are British people so entitled ?
yeah because california has the trade deal enforced heart of the tech and film industry
2008 wasn't your fault though, it was America's
i wanna see californias economy if they left the us
same as france, germany, netherlands etc. if they left the eu.
i can't believe the uk are getting shamed for making democratic decisions.
you join the eu voluntarily and you leave the eu voluntarily
a.
Are you arguing the british pound will jump in value once outside of the EU?
hahahahahahaha typical brits trying to justify the shitstorm they got themselves into for being literally a country with 90% illiterate idiots
deal with it
We're predicted to surpass Germany in a few years. This is only temporary.
>being literally a country with 90% illiterate idiots
What?
>Economic growth depends on a strong pound
Other user is right, rangeban Canada
the uk is 90% illiterate retards. i see you're one of them
>tories have to pretend they disagree with a key tenet of thatcherism now
THE ABSOLUTE STATE
We have a 99% literacy rate compared to Spain's 97%.

M8 there's a reason Spaniards dream of living in London while Spain is just a playground for chavs
idk if you realize but the more you talk shit the more obvious it gets that you're just mad brexit was a massive mistake and shifting blame. i'd just shut up and deal with it if i were you haha
The uk needs to remove all their scumbags in goverment
They did.
That is what Brexit was about--leaving the EU.
by the way everyone british i met here was actually fun at parties, meanwhile what you get from us is people competing for jobs that usually come back whenever they can
that's because english is an easier language as it has to be dumbed down for the average british. if you count reading & writing in spanish as not being illiterate it's much higher here ;)
I'm just """arguing""" that the only reason you're making it about Brexit is because you don't like the idea of Brexit and feel to need to grasp at things to discredit it, not because it's particularly relevant to California hypothetically overtaking the UK in a national ranking of economies. The UK's economy is stagnant and shit and has been for generations, while California is the world's single richest country's single richest state. The fact that we've voted to leave the EU doesn't come into this in the slightest, you just want to randomly make it about Brexit, which doesn't really make sense because why would a leaf even care?
We've voted to leave the EU, not to nuke Canada.
And the whole MUH POUND thing can be chalked up to the self-fulfilling prophecy of economic doom-mongering that we had every single day for over a year in the lead up to the referendum. It's not surprising that the pound weakened with what the government and the treasury and the media and the parties and the pro-EU politicians were all saying would happen in the event of a vote to leave - even though none of the predictions came true.
When it comes down to it, the pound is still stronger than both the Euro and the Dollar, we're not suddenly Zimbabwe just because we democratically decided to withdraw from Mutti Merkel's Wild Ride. It doesn't work like that.
And like I said, Brexit hasn't even happened yet, we're literally still in the EU.

>angry spanish man incoherently rants about illiteracy
Did both your wife and your mother get fucked by drunk British lads on holiday or something? It's amazing how much rage you EU cunts have for us just because we've voted to leave your faggy little German-run supranational political club. If you had sincere confidence in its existence then you wouldn't all be seething this much at the fact that we just don't fancy sticking around in it tbqh.
and obviously by "stronger than both the Euro and the Dollar" I mean in the same arbitrary context that the people who fixate over it because of "ahhhh brexit ruined the economy we need to go back you idiots you ruined everything why didn't you just listen to tony blair and obama ahhhh the eu is good actually u bigots your vote doesn't count it's only advisory ahhh corbyn help" mean.
It's completely pointless to talk about because it's not as if the people who are pro-EU would have suddenly changed their position on Britain's membership of the EU if the apparent value of the pound had instead shot up on the vote to leave.
It's far more relevant to point out say, the fact that the people primarily responsible for our economy being so shit and stagnant and unproductive in the first place have invariably been pro-EU politicians - pro-EU politicians whose idea of actually helping the economy is flooding the country with millions and millions of immigrants from the third-world because something something GDP pensions.
