But eastern Europe is also much cheaper

Why do new world mutts think they are allowed an opinion on EU? It's so obvious you are jealous

So? compare both salaries after discounting everything (rent, food, social, etc) and you'll still having more money to save... also, life quality there isn't that good.

Because it's unfair what you're doing over there.

not qualified people usually earn more than qualified ppl here

The union never had the goal to unify wages.
And for good reasons, it would be suicidal.

That's fake, i have some friends that are software engineers or doctors and earn way more than €2k per month.

What YOU guys do to the poorest countries of europe is unfair and you know it.

Hourly "I'm 12 and don't know how the world works" thread?

maybe theres something fundamental about it

Romania is a third world country

Dude shut up, you live in america, the most unfair shithole in the world.

>Doctors and engineers move out of the ghetto to the richer parts of the EU and get a job in their qualified field because freedom of movement is a thing

Wow shocking, almost like I demonstrated the dynamics of migrating for career prospects, it's not like a huge percentage of the world does this or anything.

Isn't that easy.

>Oh i'm an rumanian engineer, let's move to spai-
>SPAIN NEEDS YOU TO HAVE €2000 (Min), Health secure, and renting an apartment or your NIE will be denegated (You need it to WORK).

that doesn't apply for EU citizens

Yes, it does, my cousing went there as italian citizenship (we all have the citizenship) and that happend.

So... why is this union so unfair with the poorest countries? tell me... is it a circus for the 'best' countries?

Abolish the EU

That's not that much money tho

>Ohh let ask to rumanians for €2000,health secure and a rent when they only earn €500 per month.

what? that cant be right. as an italian citizen, you only need an apartment and a job in spain, and you can stay their indefinitely

Why would poor countries join if it didn't benefit them? I think they get more benefit than richer countries

>Be '''engineer'''
>Can't even earn €2000
You're supposed to earn more than €3000~4000 after achieving MSc in decent uni, otherwise you're only a brainlet claiming as a qualified engineer when all you did was completing bootcamp and coursera lmao

ofc... but you need the NIE to get that job :DD... if you don't have the requeriments, it COULD (99%) be denied.

>Be '''engineer'''
>Can't even earn €2000
That's how the poorest countries of europe works.

Get a job first, then move to the country you want.

>ofc... but you need the NIE to get that job :DD... if you don't have the requeriments, it COULD (99%) be denied.

>get a job first
*get a job in tthe country you want first

>Dude

>ofc... but you need the NIE to get that job :DD... if you don't have the requeriments, it COULD (99%) be denied.

Don't forget that there is about one language per country in EU and don't expect to get a qualified if you don't speak the local language very well.

italy is literally one of the poorest of europe, dunno what you are talking about

Yes, sure bro.

It's true man. We have become a peripheric part of Europe

This was a huge problem, it's still a big problem but Polish doctors for example stopped picking strawberries in the Netherlands to be doctors in Poland again. Things are improving.

Life is also cheaper

Only rent. Everything else is the same.

No really. I'm a programmer, I earn 2500 euro and I live like a king here. I would never be even close to this level of life if I moved for isntance to Germany or Norway where I could earn at least double as that.

>centuries of different living standards should be equalized within 20 years of union
not how it works. Also it's not like Western politicians go to sleep every night thinking about the poor Easterners and how to improve their salaries

>UK third highest
>not even close to the third highest income
End me

Well I mean 2500 is like top 5% of earners in Poland? That equals maybe 10.000 per month in western-Europe.

It is pretty high, yes. I'm not sure if it is like top 5% or not but not so many people earn this kind of money.
>That equals maybe 10.000 per month in western-Europe.
More less yes. 2500 euro is more less 10k PLN. My cost of living are 3k PLN ( I also have an apartment 75m2, credit already paid) and this is high standard of living. The rest 7k goes to my savings I don't have to spend more.

>italy is literally one of the poorest of europe
I don't think you know what literally means

its probably london pushing that stat up. sprawling megacities are very unefficient and expensive to live in

Language? I want to be a fullstack JavaScript developer, is it worth?

London is also the reason they have such a high average income.

Also, you went to university or learned by yourself or in a codecamp?

tfw an average house in a major city here costs $1 million

Attached: just UNfuck my shit up.jpg (604x453, 65K)

Sad!

I work in C++/C# here: flyingwildhog.com/

> I want to be a fullstack JavaScript developer, is it worth?
Yep, it is a good choice. Everything realted to progamming is a good choice, but you have to be stubborn and do it every day. Backend developers also earn a lot of money, SQL + .net or Ruby.

Fucking hell has he injected himself with silicon?

injected with memes

I learned on my own. Well I had a friend who taught me basic stuff when I was 16 and then I moved on on my own. I tried to go to Uni but I simply could not stand it. It was a waste of time but I got lucky and I found a job in Samsung RnD here in Warsaw when I was 21.

You say?

>There are three kinds of countries that have been hurt by the euro: ones that did everything wrong, ones that did everything right and all the rest in between.

How would you fix the problem mr Argie?

>The union never had the goal to unify wages.
If the final goal of the union is to develop a federation having a monetary union as an intermediate step, you need to level wages and price indexes, but so far it has only increased the disparity between member states. The European Union is a failed attempt by France to control Germany that the Germans have been exploiting for its mercantilist policies

The Germans didn't even want the euro; it was the rest of you that insisted because no one trusted your currencies and you wanted to borrow credibility from the DM

That's what I'm saying, I blame my and France's retarded politicians for the disaster more than I blame Germany, they just did what every other cunt with a sudden, almost irreversible competitive devaluation would have done

>$1m

maybe if you want to live in the outer ring

I don't know yet, but ill do it, don't worry rumanon, I'll make Europe a better place for you

>Capitalist exploitation and private ownership of the means of production by the ultra rich still allowed
>Proletariat doesn't like it

Hmmm if only there was some sort of critique of political economy that could point out some sort of solution to this whole situation.. Some sort of dialectical overview of history regarding how to get out of this mess...

...

we always been
it's true

The cost of life isn't the same though. In France with €1200 a month you survive, in Eastern Europe you live.

Even in France, we have this distinction, in Paris we earn 20% more than in the rest of France, but the cost of life is also 20% higher. In final, they aren't winners.

poor countries should get kicked out

The last time communism was tried in europe, we regressed 50 years back and you can see to this days the results. Economical, quality of life, even fucking suicide rates. Capitalism is meh, but communism is fucking disgrace.

I really cant tell when they are pretending and when they truly are retarded.

He doesnt know how basic economy works. The tldr version is that rich countries become more rich by selling shit to poor countries. Money themselves are worthless. If you dont believe me, look at reports about how much money were printed in last year. It doesnt matter how many money EU gives countries, EU will print twice as many for itself...

Attached: bee yourself.jpg (1260x1260, 344K)

Rich countries barely sell anything to poor countries; after all, you can't afford it. They become rich by being productive through investment and skill-building

>Rich countries barely sell anything to poor countries; after all, you can't afford it
And that's where the Maastricht treaty comes in: banks from rich countries can freely lend money to companies and families in poorer countries so that they can buy products from the same rich countries at an higher interest rate than they'd be able to ask in a rich country. And if some external factor (like an economic crisis) prevents the people and companies in the poor country from paying back their debts, you get Greece.

i dont get this. why would the interest rate be higher in poorer countries?

>why would the interest rate be higher in poorer countries?
Because they are usually less industrialized, thus capital has in general a higher interest rate, because there is less capital available for loans by domestic banks, and because risk is higher

I will give you a hint cause you are truly product of quality usa education system "pay as much as you want"(tm):

Use cheap workforce, cheap commodities, almost none taxes, pollute their enviroment cause less regulations, make the workers suffer more (again less rights and less regulations) to build super cheap iPhone and then sell it to rich stupid population like you in usa. In iphone case the poor country is china where 8 years old poisoned kids assemble your phone for pennies as "wage".

This was just ONE example. Banks example is also cool one.

Because when you are gigantic bank, you can push smaller banks out of "market" with your capital alone. When your strong native currency is 10 times more worth theirs, you have literally economic power to do pretty much anything in poor country. But banks cheat a lot of time by lending money they dont have to people and this is how economic bubbles are made when nobody can pay their loans back.

Stale meme, have (You).

Attached: burn it.jpg (425x337, 47K)

They joined by their own choice when they were still poor. Do you think it would be resonable if the population of the EU made cuts in their wage as soon as a new poor country joined the EU?

Why not just be a doctor in the Netherlands? That's what my parents did. Except in Germany.

>Use cheap workforce, cheap commodities, almost none taxes, pollute their enviroment cause less regulations, make the workers suffer more (again less rights and less regulations) to build super cheap iPhone and then sell it to rich stupid population like you in usa. This does not imply what you think it implies.

>cheaptugal

go back to your third world shithole samir

This. Even inside of Germany are discrepancies. You have the same inside the US.

In Frankfurt you easily earn about 3000-6000€ and have to face a hefty rent and other costs, while in north east Germany you can live very good with 1500-3000€
