English classical music is pretty lacklustre compared to certain other Euro nations but Purcell and Elgar are pretty good, IMO

overwhelmed

Bach or Beethoven.

I personally like tchiakovsky

If I had to pick one I'd go with Grieg
Dvorak and Czajkowski would be close seconds

Chopin

Chopin wasn't poolish, stop being proud of him

Prokofiev

Varese is not classical

erik satie is not classical

Rachmaninoff

Dmitri Shostakovich?
Does that count?

>The pieceHekla, Op 52 (1964) by Icelandic composerJón Leifs, has been called the "loudestclassical musicof all time". The requirements for a performance ofHekla include four sets of rocks hit with hammers, steel plates, anvils, sirens, cannons, metal chains, choir, alarge orchestra, and organ

Schubert
Prokofiev
Wagner

VIVALDI IS BETTER YOU CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNT
youtu.be/7v8zxoEoA_Q
GO HARD ON THOSE STRINGS FAGGOT
but for key board I prefer Chopin or maybe Liszt

Objectively Bach, but the problem is that most of his music was lost to time. Guy wrote a song every week for like 40 years.

Subjectively Beethoven. He did his own thing which was cool. Liszt was too try-hard for my taste.

>Chopin
>Vivaldi

I see the brainlet brigade is in full force this morning.

cannot decide
Ravel, Debussy or Vivaldi inmy opinion

>quantity over quality
>basic bitch composers
Holst would have also been an accepted answer

aphex twin

Look, I like the Planets too, especially the rendition of Jupiter in Civ 5, but comparing Gustav Holst to fucking Bach is inane. Bach invented the concept of classical music, all that came after was derivative of his work until Atonality and we all know what THAT sounds like.

Gustav Mahler

Bizet.

Tchaikovsky
Prokofiev
Glinka
Mussorgsky
The list goes on and on, because all Russian composers are great

The correct answer ITT

Wendy Carlos
