Honestly I can't remember what real Greek sounds like. I go down the street hear the Vietnamese speaking to one another, the Armenian yelling on his phone, the Aboriginal doing his chant at the market; it's all Greek to me.

Those that were not born here probably don't speak any Greek or they know some basic things, it's common for their families not to be interested to teach them the language while they grow up for some reason
