I've practiced tae kwon do during 3 years. it is terrible for combat. I had to relearn how to fight properly I got so many bad habits because of tae kwon do, putting your hands low to facilite those fancy legs moves is bad in a real fight, sacrifying your balance for a fancy round house kick that will connect very few times is bad, tae kwon do is a sport, it's not effective
