based spanish bro.
Franco's last speech in Madrid about what had happned in Portugal:
>"Spaniards: Thank you for your support and for the serene and virile public demonstration that you offer me in reparation to the aggressions that have been the object of several of our diplomatic representations and Spanish establishments in Europe, which show us, once again, what we can expect from certain corrupt countries, which perfectly clarifies its constant policy against our interests. It is not the most important, although it appears in its appearance, the assault and destruction of our Embassy in Portugal, carried out in a state of anarchy and chaos in which the sister nation is being debated, and that nobody more interested than us in that it can to be restored to them order and authority. Everything obeys to a leftist masonic conspiracy in the political class in collusion with the communist-terrorist subversion in the social, that if it honors us, it degrades them. These demonstrations demonstrate, on the other hand, that the Spanish people are not a dead people, who are deceived. He is awake and watches over his reasons and trusts that it was worth of the Public Order's guard forces, and supreme guarantee of the unity of the Land, Sea and Air Forces, supporting the will of the Nation, allow the Spanish people to rest calmly. Obviously, being Spanish has once again become something in the world. Go Spain!
t. underage retards
Should have tried to be more like the UK and less like failed regimes from the start, maybe you wouldn't be so poor today
Sure, I guess... This thread was missing the classic pessimistic portuguese
>wouldn't be so poor today
ok
The Jow Forumstards are drawn like flies to any patriotic shit, user.
Weird looking Dutch flag
>Portugal was an empire, it's presence alone in Africa was the continent's hope
>Portugal was at its apex economically while having the most aethetic regime
>Portugal literally won militarily the colonial
>Some retards come out of nowhere and throw all of that away while Caetano just lets it happen for no reason
>All built up by based Salazar is gone to the trash and Portugal becomes a pathetic socialist country with fragile economy
>Not Portugal's worst day
How about you shut the fuck up
Nobody with the exception of a few autists think that guy is a good person.
colonial wars*
We were on a verge of a civil war, the rangers(comandos - far right) had to intervine to smash the commies, in the north and in algarve the commie headquarters were set on fire.
>t.commie
>Portugal literally won militarily the colonial
I'm amazed that after all these wars, there's people that still think you can win a guerilla war.
PCP BITCHHHHHH, REVOLUÇÃO DOS CRAVOS FOREVEEEEERRRR, GO FUCK YOURSELF AND YOUR DEAR SALAZAR BASTARD
Also that the Portuguese living in the colonies were either left to rot in hell or be treated like shit when they returned
>We're richer than shithole's in the balkans so we're not poor
Technically im a fucking millionare for a Ukranian
I like Portugal, especially Braga
That war had no sense i agree, but we won completely in angola and mozmbique, the guerrilas suported by usa and ussr were expelled out of those lands and were only operating inside border shared countries
t. Alberto Barbosa
Wars, and especially assymetric wars are more than just the military aspect, which many people still fail to understand.
>same old news, portuguese raxxxxxissts supported by the boer raxxxiiiisssts
>pic unrelated
Yes bro, it's tuff to be us, heirs of a such a glorious past, it's heavy and dificult to describe, it's something like this:
>Mother Tongue speaks to Me
In the strongest way I've ever seen
I know that she sees in Me
Her proudest child, her purest breed
>She speaks to Me in colours
That I can't really understand
I only know that they are ours
And to those I'll proudly bend
>Breaking waves announce my Bride
It is the only way the Sea could sing
Legends of Lusitanian pride
He sings the words I cannot spring
>At the Moon Mountain six wolves cry
Your lost glory we'll regain or die
That Moonspell song, should be our 2nd national anthem- amazing stuff.
All that album (wolfheart) is top tier.
Absolute cringe my dude, even tho I really like Moonspell
Kys
just shaved mine yesterday
stop watching tv fag.
A musica é brutal
Such a beautiful and poetic moment of our history, the Carnation Revolution, carried out by the brave Captain Salgueiro Maia.
Shame about all the commie shitshow that ensued.
>>Portugal literally won militarily the colonial
A pointless war of attrition that left us huge expenses.
Made no sense to wager a war that we were bound to lose due to foreign pressure right from the start.
And the dictatorship was hell for the people. Grandpa made sure I learnt how hard life was back then and that they couldn't complain or else PIDE would BTFO them.
Go fuck yourself. I can't wait to hang you in the streets of Lisbon.
epa cala-te caralho
já para cama os dois!
Amazing thread.
>tfw spending all waking hours working on a programming project (machine learning)
depressed as fuck
I could find myself in that picture if I could bother to look.
based finnposter
My friend when we reconquer lisbon, it's you that will hang for treason against Portugal and Europe.
>audax, ditalco e minuro
Based Portugal
