It was literally the opposite. There was never serfdom is Sweden as thralldom, which was defined as the ownership of another christian person, was made illegal in the 1300s. So, since there was no serfdom in Sweden, there was none in Finland either, because it was an integrated part of the realm and Finns had the same rights as Swedes.
As for the Balts, serfdom did occur in these parts of the kingdom because the treaties by which this land had been aquired demanded that the German nobles there be allowed to retain their old priveliges, which included serfdom. However, during the reign of Karl XI and his son Karl XII, serfdom was practically abolished in all but name and much of the land owned by the Germans was confiscated and then redistributed amongst native Balts.

It is true that serfdom has only existed during very brief period in Sweden, but serfdom and slavery are two different things. Serfs are not slaves.
