Not enough, I read somewhere they are 5%, but most of our gingers have reddish brown hair, gingers with orange hair are pretty rare. We are still the country with the most gingers per capita after British Islands, Australia, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Supposedly they are most common in Appalachia, which would make sense.
sadly no

i'm red
They are rare, I have a reddish beard though.
Hello fellow superhuman
Not common but they exist. My ex was a ginger and I loved her red pubic hair.

In parts of the US red heads are very common because they are small isolated communities out in the country where the people that emigrated there hundreds of years ago kind of justvstaid there so there's not much admixture. AKA rural Alabama and Appalachia. Lots of redheads is Mass as well. Remember Johann America is a vast country with a lot of isolated communities.
Spasibo
Yes, we practically created them.
Isn't Appalachia Scotch-Irish?
I think you're right, but with "white" including Hispanics (the census bureau is really inconsistent with that). I say this because look how near the Mexican border the redhead ratio drops.
Yes.
