Germanic slum in South Brazil

Why no pavement?

looks better than the favela that's for sure
>no garden gnomes
>germanic
>unpaved streets
And they say South Brazil is 1st world.
Most of South Brazil was completely unpaved outside of capitals till the '80s, it was legitimately rural, as soon you left the capital every street was a dirt road, it wasn't until 2000 that they started paving the countryside regions, so most villages still don't have pavement outside of the main streets or main neighborhoods because many of them have very little budget and don't even have cops or only have 1 or 2 police officers in the local police department.
As a matter of fact there are places right besides the capital such as Viamão that still mostly unpaved, lol.
That seems bizarre. But I guess it is because Brazil is the size of a continent, so it is harder to have proper infrastructure everywhere.
It looks perfectly fine though. A dirt road might be a bit strange for modern day, but hardly that bad against quality of life.
that's a slum? It looks like an average neighborhood here.
The house on the right is a middle-class house, he is just calling it slum because of the lack of asphalt and also trying to sound ironic. I can post some real South Brazilian slums if you guys want.
based and white brasil
of course we want
This one is near my house. Here in South Brazil we call slums/favelas a "vila" (village in English), which is why Brazilians get pissed off if you ask them to show you a village from Brazil, because it's an offensive term.
>build an expensive modern house in a place that doesn't have cops
>in Brazil
>tfw no middle-class German nowadays would be able to afford a house like that
Why do you think Brazilian posters worship South Brazil? Because they all grew up hearing stories about the wealthy relaxing rural South where there is no crime and everyone descends from German and Italians and you don't have to lock your door and everyone is nice to each other. Of course these stories are merely fairy tales these days because criminality is sky high these days and people are mixed as fuck, but when you grow up hearing something it usually stays ingrained in your brain.
Bank robbers have been targeting small towns because there is barely any police, in fact some towns don't even have any cops but they don't disclose which ones to stop criminals from going there and wrecking everything. A week ago i heard a huge explosion at 2:00 AM in the middle of the night and some gunshots, next day it was on the news that it was a bank robbery.
I always thought it was because there are maybe a bit more blonde people than in the rest of the country and WEWUZers went apeshit over this.
Sounds scary, but as long as there are banks or rich people around the criminals won't go targetting normal people I guess.
Its cool in rural areas, where i lived everyone walked with guns anyway
Residential areas in the suburbs under development.
>I always thought it was because there are maybe a bit more blonde people than in the rest of the country and WEWUZers went apeshit over this.
This also, but they believe that everyone is German or Italian descendants, like they genuinely believe that no one lived in South Brazil before German or Italian immigration. For example i'm from what people call a "German enclave" but most people here have Portuguese surnames with brown eyes and tons of brown people with German surnames, it's hilarious.
There are robberies here where i live and it's not recommended to go out at night, but at least house invasions are not common, they only try to invade houses that are empty.
Notice the lack of fences, and the houses that have them, only have small, decorative fences. This is a sign that it is a safe area.
This faggot conveniently forgot to mention the HUGE influx of brown people from the other regions to the South that has been going on for the last few decades, browning the place and bringing crime with them.
