Do Germans really consider cold and miserable perfect climate?
I think germanon was trying to be funny here listing everything as opposite to how it really is.
It's +20 degrees in shade and sunny here. Ever heard of gulf stream?

Finland and culture?
what did you mean by this?
I come from a country that values hospitality and sociability above everything else - even our introverts are extraverts by the western standards
and that's why I find Finland disgusting and boring
Finns are the exact opposite of Poles - quiet, autistic, unsociable etc.
typical Jow Forums browser. reads memes here and take them as granted.
Out of the things he listed only "perfect climate" was objectively wrong and "great and rich culture" would generally be considered to not be true either. If he wanted to go full opposites, he'd say something like "sober and extroverted people".
Are you saying he's wrong? He's really not.
Indeed, finland is a great country where as poland is a shithole
I legit love your country. It's clean, safe and social (unlike Germany for example)
Yes he is, poles aren't exactly known for their hospitability.
Kys, door-to-door "art" salesman
It's clean and safe, but it's far from social, especially during the winter. And I have a hard time believing that Germany isn't particularly clean or social, shame about the safety though.

>"Foreigners who visited the Commonwealth knew it from numerous travel journals that were written in those times that Poles were an extremely hospitable nation. The Polish nobility, who cultivated the ideals of peaceful, rustic, idyllic life and lived outside cities, did not have many opportunities to entertain themselves, so equipped with good food and drinks and having a lot of free time, they eagerly welcomed guests."
Well, I was referring more to him calling finns "quiet, autistic, unsociable, etc." because he's not wrong on that.
Yeah he's right about that, no denying it.
Usually people who visit Finland say outright that even though personal privacy is valued here finns are still very hospitable and kind. Of course finns worst enemy is his neighbor. But we don't carry that attitude towards foreigners.
Funny thing is, I've read similar accounts on the Finns back in the day about them being social and open before the modern age, particularly before the majority of the population lived in cities.
after the victory over Prussia and Austria during Napoleonic wars, Prince Józef Poniatowski -- The Polish marshall of France -- organised and funded the biggest party in the history of Paris -- twice ( the first party took place at the very beginning of Napoleonic wars, after Napoleon agreed to create a Polish army )
The memories of the said parties survived to this day
nice, I'm coming to visit then
