Well to be honest not really. Most of us still highly relies on our traditions and cultures because it's already deep in our roots. When Islam came it just changed a bit so it will match with Islamic teaching. Nothing really much changes since that.

I have been to Indonesia, nice people even if muslims, except Jakarta and Sumatra they are more friendly than the hindu balinese. However they are destroying Indonesia and the environment at a tremendous speed. They are even more scheming and greedy than jews, ready to steal you at any moments. Arent they have their own view of the Dutch, hence their own policy towards them? I know some groups have different views of them, like the ambonese or manadonese, who were kinda favorable of them.
