Why is Belgium such a shithole?

>Belgium is poorer than Spain and Italy after adjusting for PPP
Is Belgium really expensive or something? Or is southern Europe richer than the memes say?

Belgium isn't any more expensive than the rest of Western Europe

And do you seriously believe that Poland is just 20% poorer than Germany?

I don't believe these stats are any indicative. Use PPP adjusted GDP per capita instead.

LMAOing@Balkans

I'm not dumb I know these are PPP adjusted. I call them bullshit anyway. Poland isn't only 20% poorer than Germany even on PPP basis. That would mean we are basically the West now, whereas there's still huge disparity and people are going abroad for money.

>Poland 2,4k $
How can this be true? Last time I was there their prices are basically the same as here some stuff is even cheaper here while their Salaries are like 400€ per months.

I wonder how they even live.

PPP isn't 100% accurate

>luxembourgh, switzerland and ireland
ah yes a map that doesn't disregard foreign assets in literal tax havens

it's by no means more expensive than the Netherlands. Their taxes are slightly higher but some things are cheaper there as well.
It's not a shithole at all. They just don't have their shit as good together as us.

Our wages are growing fast. But anyway, this 2.4k $ figure is PPP adjusted, read up on it if you don't know what does it mean.

~ 400 euro is a minimum salary, it's not like all of the people here make so little. More realistic average wage would be something around 600 euro, it's of course still laughable for you.

What things are actually cheaper in Germany than in Poland? Some cherrypicked German products? I can't think of anything other than German chemistry really.

I really doubt Norwegians and Swedes earn less than Danes and Icelanders. Iceland is expensive as shit, and Danish taxes suck you dry.

Beer, Meat, Diary Products.
Just to mention a few.
Your fuel is 1,10€ while here it's 1,29€
Most things have the same price or little difference.

A person earning 1,6k€ here has a poor life. How can I imgaine a Pole earning 600€ to survive?

check the pic I've posted

>A person earning 1,6k€ here has a poor life.
you live in one of the richest countries in the world, and yes Poland is poor for you

You need to keep in mind that wages in Denmark and Iceland are higher than in Sweden, and that the respective costs of living in both Iceland and Denmark are much lower than in Norway.

making meme maps should be punishable by death
if you publish your map and the methodology of collecting and organizing the data is not the same in all countries on it, you get burnt at stake

how can a truth loving man like myself remain calm in the face of such disgusting fabrications coming from the eternal straights jew?

see Above average tax rates. Plus shitty politics planning means huge waste in time and resources.
I'm always amazed how so many belgians tolerate such a mess.

Danish hourly wages might be higher, but the average Swede works about 200 hours more than the average Dane (and Norwegian for that matter) every year and taxes/the cost of living is significantly lower here, so I don't buy that Danes are left with a disposable income nearly 15% higher.

The Danish crown's relationship with the Euro seems to be the key to why Denmark fares so well on this map, same goes for Finland who uses Euro. The SEK and NOK have taken a massive beating against both the Euro and the USD in the past few years, while the Euro (and the DKK who's tied to the Euro) have been holding their ground. Makes Finland and Denmark appear much wealthier than they were just a few years ago.

Your money will get you more goods in Norway and Sweden than it did five years ago, but it won't get you any further in your own country than it did back then. I'm fairly certain Norwegians would rank as overwhelmingly richer than their neighbors in such a ranking among the Nordics, with Swedes in second place right ahead of the Danes and Icelanders (who apparently work nearly 1900 hours annually, which explains some of the disparity) and Finns in last.
