YEEEEEEHAAA COWBOY
YAAL'DVE VOTE FOR THE NETHERLANDS AIN'T YA?
Could the Paddies win this? They weren't even expected to make it out of the semi..and now they're fourth in the odds.
youtube.com
Has Rybak won yet?
they are 3rd now kek wtf
they will probably win if the homo dancers kiss
>be Julia
>not allowed to participate in kiev last year
>russian government literally use you as propaganda material against Ukraine
>the only reason why they sent you again
>tons of negative coverage during her rehearsels yet receive pity applause
>doesn't give up
>nervous as fuck
>literally and quite literally forgot your own lyrics during the live performance
>backing vocalists literally does all your work
>last minute is just talking into the mic
>the director probably said to you that the vocalists will do the "hard" part
>most of the screen time is focused on the dancers
>both non-russians and russians dislike the performance
>your performance is the most watched in the 2nd semi finals
>that like/dislike ratio
holy shit
Finally russians strated participate in eurovision as normal country- sending worst singers that they have
Good idea
But Jow Forums is all about how size DOES matter.
I think they can. The big question mark with cyprus and Israel is their ability to get jury support. There are signs that Ireland did well with the televote in their semi and they should do well with juries. They could be a compromise winner (like Ukraine 2016) where they don't win the jury or televote but do well enough in both to come out top.
that male dancer is pretty hot desu
what is his name?
Have this feeling we might win
The position you got in the final draw suggests you did well. however I can't see you winning. Good voice tho

is he popular in russia?
Put Bulgaria as Jow Forums and Russia as /m/
I genuinely felt bad for Julia. Russia should just leave the whole competition like Turkey, they can't help but bring politics and retarded blockvoting into ESC.
He participated in several dance tv shows, but I never heard of him before
But unlike Russia, Turkey was actually fun to have in Eurovision.
yeah I miss them
youtube.com
he cute
>tfw this picture is probably promotional because there are no more pictures of him and yulia together after the 2nd of may
Great song. Should have won that year instead of that annoying slag Lena.
Christ, it is third now.
It's quite puzzling how it managed to jump so high and so quickly. I think insiders who know the results of the semi are placing bets on it...maybe it even won the first semi final.
expanded
why did spain send an incel and a retard?
Nice work.
Im still angry this didnt at least go to the finals
The retard is his gf, he's no incel.
It did. it came 16th in the final, but it definitely should have been in the top 10.
>that part at 2:02 where she nervously laughs and forgets to sing
Why do you do this Russia?
Er what? The video literally says this was in the grand final. You're drunk xherdan
oops
But it totally shouldve been at top 10 yes
I'd be okay with either Cyprus or Ireland winning. Just keep the chicken meme song the fuck away.
Is Rybak a rapist? He constantly flirts creepily with women and kissed Lena aswell without her consent. His songs are about him stalking women.
The LGBT community is supporting it in the televote. They're more likely to spend their money on this because of its "message". As for the jury, I wouldn't be so sure, but then again Ireland used to win contests with this kind of songs back in the jury only days.
she looks like she is from chernobyl
>Before the finals votes get announced Salvador makes a speech about how now fast food music cannot win
>Results come in
>Eleni's pure grease fast food song has won
>She comes on stage
>Takes the trophy from Salvador while dabbing on him
>He goes home and kills himself
>In the afterlife a shadowy figure says he shall go to hell for killing himself
>He wakes up in his room
>Oh it was a dream
>Turn on TV
>"Portugal was so moved by Eleni's winning song we made it our anthem"
>Salvador punches the TV
>"This must be hell"
Am I the only one crept out by the Russian singer? She looks something out of /x/, pic related
The jury might rate it pretty well. Musically it's not completely terrible, unlike many other competitors.
Apparently he's an actual cunt in real life, and not the charming nice guy you see on stage.
link to site?
will the micks actually win?
eurovisionworld.com
bookmakers have so far been very inconsistent though except on the number 1
That's really bizarre. I think it could have won its semi.
Be honest, which one of you advertised us on Jow Forumseurovision?
me
That was me
literally how, ireland always does shit
also
>julia didn't liked the mountain concept
>probably because the dancers are literally overshadowing her by dancing in front of her
It just gets worse and worse.
The homo gimmick. If they didn't have the dancers, it wouldn't have gotten out of the semi.
what the hell Spartacus
wiwibloggs.com
Apparently our entry is doing the best in the iTunes charts (who still uses iTunes lmao?) Maybe we could win?
If it did, it didn't win the televote. I am almost certain that cyprus won the televote, considering that it is miles ahead of the other songs in terms of downloads.
What happened with Ireland is that it was given a favorable slot in the final. Combined with the fact that the song performed very strong in terms of downloads after it's semi. This made people come to the conclusion that it probably didn't scrape through it's semi. People now think that it might have captured a moment like Netherlands and Austria 2014.
If Ireland are to win, they will need to win the jury, and probably convincingly. israel and ireland will likely sweep up the televote. In 2015 and 2016 the winners of the televote finished third overall, so Ireland could do it.
In that case, I can't see Ireland winning the jury vote. I'm confident it will be either Sweden or Australia. Juries seem to love those two unconditionally ever year for some reason.
I meant to say Israel and cyprus will sweep the televote. Ireland will probably need third in the televote to win
I feel pretty bad for her. Especially because they boo’d her. She doesnt deserve this hate.
Sweden will be top 3 with the juries. The song is too hollow for it to be higher. genuinely think that ireland has a plum draw, not just becasue it's late but because it's between two upbeat numbers that will make it stand out well.
Step one: believe in it. Sing it all day long!
Who knows. I don't remember it being this open and unpredictable. Anyone in the top 10 in the odds can feasibly win at this point 2bh.
except for germany
Yeah, Germany seems too high. I think Bulgaria and Czechia have better chances than Germany.
Bulgaria are not contenders. There has been a bot that has been artificially inflating their odds for months. The Czech republic is not strong enough with the public to take it home. If it were on track for victory it's downloads would be stonger
His song is just too weak. The appeal of rybak at the start of this season was seeing him unexpectedly elevate a pretty rubbish song with his charisma and charm. Now that his charisma and charm is expected, the low quality of the song is more obvious.
The ballads this year will do very well since there are like 4 of them while the rest of them are uptempo songs which will share votes
Ireland is a slow song in a second half full of uptempo bangers. It will stand out a lot.
Who do you see as being likely to win?
Yeah, I think the pop vote will be split between Cyprus, Israel, which might allow Ireland or France or Estonia to come through and win.
But why we should leave competition, anonski?
>when even russia today calls you the "Mountain of shame" and says you probably won't qualify
holy shit
:(
>tfw we have the best song
Songs that will win:
Italy, France, Cyprus or Germany
Screencap this
But I also have a feeling we might win...
Even if he sang nursery rhymes he would still entertaining on stage. I'm a fan of his simplicity
Nice lyrics
meh, better than fast-food garbage music. At least he's not pretending
This song is literally the fastest food there is. Its one of the mcdonalds cheeseburgers that they always have ready and throw out if its not bought within 15 minutes.
They did that?
And at least he's not stealing either
youtube.com
youtube.com
Meh, its similar but far from a copy.
He wrote the song after getting fan mail from children asking him how to become successful. It's kind of cute in that way.
Cyprus at the moment are the most likely. I foresee a monster televote (350+). However I'm unconvinced how juries will treat it. At the moment I really do think Ireland is the most likely challenger. It's reminding me of the netherlands in 2014- a slow, atmospheric song that was thought to have no hope that created an incredible atmosphere through it's staging and built up huge momentum, finishing 2nd. If Ireland can win the jury (the netherlands counldn't as it was up against conchita) it really does have a shot. But it needs to smash the jury. it will need a score similar to salvador last year (370+).
>Russian state TV is still lying through its teeth, claiming she "captured the hearts of the audience"
>also state TV: Eurovision is shit, so it's not like we wanted to win anyway
>Russian jury member whines Yulia failed to qualify because of "unfair conditions"
The sourest of grapes.
Thing is, Lithuania's song is quite similar to Ireland in that regard, so that might split the juries.
Russia normally sends fairly decent songs.
Why do all of you care about this bullshit?
>Yulia failed to qualify because of "unfair conditions"
So basically they should have broke other participants legs
I don't think so. Lithuania is 4th in the running. Ireland is 24th. Also Lithuania is at the start of a slow first half, while Ireland near the end of a very upbeat second. Ireland will stand out in a huge way that lithuania won't.
Because our lives suck and it works as a distraction from the pain
Funny because even the russian comments on her performance is very negative
Why did we qualify?
Why do people say we will take 4th/5th place?
Why didn't Latvia qualify?
You qualified because your song was nice and you had the UK, Ireland and Estonia voting in your semi who will all have given you 12 points.
Also, I voted for you because the lithuanian girl is a qt but also trad.
On her Youtube video, yeah. Twitter reactions are split, with one half saying the performance was crap and the other crying about muh russophobia and how Eurovision is unworthy of the mighty Russian talent.
spain will win because muh diversity
Cyprus' is catchy, but somehow I can't see it winning. It's very generic, in my opinion at least.
This year is very tough in general, there's probably going to be quite even point spread. Israel stands out, but the live performance was a disappointment. But I prefer it this way, it's really boring when you can tell who's going to win from the start (like when Loreen won, it was no competition).
cyprus won't win, they are a poor shithole and their biggest indoor stadium has 6k capacity kek
also they hate gays
