High unemployment, bad education, tons of uneducated and unskilled workers, half of the labour force works in the public sector so you can make an idea on how high taxes are plus There is a very strong collectivist ethos which implies a lot of corruption and rampant nepotism. A lot of People are addicted to drugs/Alcohol. Kids start drinking when they are 12 years old. Southern spain is a hellhole.
