Yes, I love all our history and the history of our colonies. Sure, there are more beautiful countries, like France and Switzerland, but I hope they take pride in that as much as I do. The only thing I feel dubious about is the fact that a lot of my ancestry is from Southern Netherlandish origin (Flanders, Artois) and thus I feel like part of my heritage is in another countries I can't really identify with today.
