Sarita and her daughters. Are they even considered as celeb? But doubtlessly, their issues make me cringe. A lot. Bingung, apa guna gituloh ngomongin masalah keluarga, nebar aib, mancing empati, haus ibaan orang. Aku gak mau ngomong kasar lho tapi im on the edge, this issue is beyond sto0pid and oVerr4t3d. Selamat yah Harris' Angels, sekarang banjir tawaran talkshow, banjir followers, banjir subscribers. Asik ya? Jangan mancing lebih banyak attention seeker untuk memanfaatkan isu pribadi sebagai umpan popularitas yah. Sudah cukup ratusan kata 'muak' saya torehkan di halaman asefem saya yang terkasih ini. Really love the reactions on Kikebook "Philippine judicial system is dead." Yeah sure because this never happened to Corona right?

Corona was impeached though which was a constitutional act, Sereno was removed by petition, an act whose constitutionality is questionable at best.

Quo warranto proceedings isn't constitutional?

It depends. From what lawyers were saying, it's supposed to be only for a year, so they should have done it before if they wanted to get rid of her that way.

Also, the constitution said that impeachable officers can only be removed through impeachment, so her undergoing that in the first place was on rather shaky ground.

Tell me about GRP: why are they so pro-Marcos and so pro-Dutdut? I know the authors live in Australia, but why did they become pro-Marcos in the first place? It can't be shilling or money since they've been like that as early as during Gloria's time.

So bored, few entertainment news of note here other than the fact that The Cure is struggling horribly in the ratings. Also not enough event news here.

Is Lim Guan Eng still on trial for graft? Are they going to finish that or just drop all the charges?

this,
not to mention Corona was a midnight appointee there is a just cause to remove him

"CJ Corona at least was granted a fully functioning constitutional Impeachment process - and it was because he hid P80M of his wealth.

CJ Sereno was ousted not by impeachment, but by rules they made up along the way (a lapsed quo warranto, years after the CJ has started her term, over SALNs 20 years ago while she taught at UP..).

Sure Corona was impeached on a weak premise, but it was constitutional. Sereno was ousted on an EVEN WEAKER premise, and they had to MAKE UP RULES just to kick her out. Somebody's in a rush.

The Supreme Court is supposed to be the supreme arbiters of the law, and yet here we are."

Not sure

>SMT: SJ redux comes out by the end of the month
>still haven't touched Apocalypse
>assloads of vidya/ anime backlog

NO I WANT TO CLEAR MY BACKLOG

Apparently De Castro also failed to fix her SALN, why don't they kick her out too? At least it would prevent them from looking like hypocrites.

>make up rules
Surely they know about ex post facto laws right?

Legitimate question: what's gonna happen if Duterte dies while in office? How will the country react? How will the shills react? What happens to his supporters? Will he become like Chavez who was revered even after he died, or will he be like Hitler who became even more hated after his death?

They know but they will just ignore it since Duthanos will just plant drug to those who oppose them
thats why "Philippine judicial system is dead."

Attached: q694gygbnfw01.jpg (800x800, 109K)

they'll be like Anuar's accusation of Daim

Why do Duterte supporters still support him? His drug war has been a massive failure and he hasn't even come close to solving it: if anything, he's only made it worse.

So no one will ever be removed by quo warranto ever again? Sereno will be the first and last in Philippine history? Future presidents won't attempt it?

Also, why don't they just get rid of De Castro? She's also eligible now.

Heck, they could just get rid of all the justices right now since all of them have dirt.

Sick of all the capeshit references in politics lads

>So no one will ever be removed by quo warranto ever again
probably those who oppose them

>Future presidents won't attempt it?
who knows we will probably have duthanos crony dictators in the future

Can we cut the politics already? I just want comfy cultural discussion, not things that just piss people off.

which 2hu wud u fug?

>why don't they just get rid of De Castro?
She's Duterte/Marcos cronny

Tell me about Visayans: why do they like dictators so much? It seems they are the #1 supporters of authoritarianism in the country, even moreso than Ilocanos. If you ask them online, they say they hate democracy and love strongmen. This was even before Dutdut, by the way.

So if the plan to make her Ombudsman comes to pass and the next president is anti-Dutdut, could she be removed for that reason?

Couldn't the justices who voted in favor be impeached? Since what they did seems unconstitutional.

Also, more importantly, why is Dutdut still so popular? He's had more fuckups than Aquino and yet people still love him. I mean, he's done a lot of bad things, and he's doing embarrassing things (like closing down Boracay or that Kuwait incident), and yet people don't care.

I unironically agree with this Pinoy

Tell me about Jokowi: why does he like metal and Metallica?

>So if the plan to make her Ombudsman comes to pass and the next president is anti-Dutdut, could she be removed for that reason?

lol no
they wouln't have to break the constitution and the judiciary system if he was that beloved

Looks cool

Now its time for the golden age of the philippines

Are you sure? Online people are like 70% supporters, the surveys say that people still like him, and Visayans and Mindanaoans worship him like he's Jesus.

>>Also, more importantly, why is Dutdut still so popular? He's had more fuckups than Aquino and yet people still love him. I mean, he's done a lot of bad things, and he's doing embarrassing things (like closing down Boracay or that Kuwait incident), and yet people don't care.
seriously its the same shill tactics you see in facebook
lol a North korea Dictatorship age lol

>the surveys say that people still like him

Yep, its also say Aquino is more beloved :))))

Is it true that in Southeast Asian countries like the Philippines and Thailand, if you pay a fee of about just 1000 dollars, a hired killer kill anybody?

Also, what's gonna happen once his term ends? Will he stay in the Philippines, or will he leave the country, never to return? Because I have the strange feeling that once his term is up he's gonna go away.

I don't get it though. During PDAF/DAP. Mamasapano and those other problems with Aquino, people were calling for his ouster and people were shitting on him. Also his approval dropped dramatically. Why isn't the same happening for Duts?

What to do? I'm so bored right now and there hasn't been much news lately that doesn't involve politics.

Untrue, the Marcos loyalists and opposition were rallying hard and pissed. In fact, when he died, there were more sympathetic comments than "good riddance" comments online.

Still can't beat the based Ibrahim Ali

youtube.com/watch?v=vN3L1-cfCXw

>his drug war has been a massive failure
Are you sure about that? Even EU is begging Dutdut to stop

I like Filipinos.

Well Article XI Sec. 2 says impeachment isn't needed to remove government officials and public workers and they have found a way (Of course they have) to legally frame CJ (or not) Sereno as not a valid CJ.

Anyway my point was simple. We know how politics work in the Philippines. Remove everyone who's not on your side. Former CJ Corona was impeached very fast with no chance to defend himself in Congress. (Even mama Miriam defended him for that) The same with Sereno. (At least she was given leeway) Both were removed from their position because people with even higher power are not on their side. Of course they will find a way to get rid them ASAP. Yet, claiming the Philippine Judicial System JUST died because it's popular opinion to talk shit about Duts' administration on social media is absurd.

The Philippine Judicial System was always like this. It has never changed even after 30+ years. Claiming it just died just shows how people didn't really care about politics before the 2010s

During the 2016 campaign season, he was even among the leaders of the Alyansang Duterte-Bongbong which campaigned for the tandem of Rodrigo Duterte and Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

and the Sereno wasUnconstitutional

There's word going around that UMNO is going to be deregistered by the RoS soon, as UMNO members filed suit a while back over the party breaching its own constitution by failing to hold internal elections. Combine with the disastrous GE result and the rats are trying to abandon the ship while they can.

Breaking apart. If they're smart they'll kick out all the 80% of the top echelon and make a total reform

But they're getting Wan Azizah as DPM, aren't they?

Good. Fuck Mat Sabu

>Former CJ Corona was impeached very fast with no chance to defend himself in Congress. (Even mama Miriam defended him for that)

Nope Congress isnt needed only the senate

>It has never changed even after 30+ years

Nope again they didn't make up the rules just to kick out Corona it went through the judicial process of trial in which he admits was wrong and the senate was put in to vote

I like cream pie

No way. Anyone will see the organization has outstanding value in terms of historical significance. There are hardline, generations to generations kind of lineage that supported them, they won't go out that easy, but the salt and sadness can be felt by the veterans and old people. Grandmother refused to talk anything until today.

If Duterte dies, might we see a Cory-style mourning period, with millions of Filipinos in tears ala Kim Jong-il, and a funeral procession attended by millions?

Probably defunct, I hope that the actually good guys in the party like Tok Mat forms his own party and bring in good people like Khalid Ibrahim

So it's still no final?

That's why you see ZERO (0) PKR leaders during the announcement

considering Marcos order a nation wide blackout so the province wouldn't see it and controls the media

>In the euphoria of the Harapan win, people have not really considered the gravity of the situation when it comes to PAS and Islam in this country. For decades, Umno was the gatekeeper of Islam in this country. Umno defined Islam and PAS was the voice of dissent, playing the long game of slowly building consensus against the narratives of the Umno state. Recently, because of a compromised Umno, they made inroads into mainstream Malay/Muslim politics and where no doubt aided and abetted by the deep Islamic state.

>Do not be misled. Do not let the 1MDB issue and the persecution of political rivals mask Islamic intrigues that may be happening on a sub rosa level. BN component parties, MCA and MIC, merely went along with what Umno said and played offence when it came to PAS and their Islamism. They constantly reminded the non-Malay communities that PAS was the Islamic bogeyman while Umno was carrying out a process of Islamisation/Arabisation that the former prime minister, now our current prime minister, was a part of.

>With Umno out in the cold, who defines Islam now? PAS for so long on the receiving end of a federal-funded Islamic bureaucracy and propaganda campaign, for the moment defines the Islamic narrative in this country. Now that Umno is the opposition and a babe in the woods when it comes to opposition politics, they are subservient to PAS who have demonstrated that they are willing to go at it alone, if need be.

>PAS has in the leadership and grassroots, the political will and cunning of people who have faced off with the current prime minister of Malaysia. Unless the prime minister changes the way how he plays the religious game, there will be no real change in this country. PAS is in a position to not only dissent but has a platform on which to critique the current Harapan government which now includes DAP, perceived to have a strong evangelical wing, making it easier for PAS to define the conflict along religious lines.
We're all fucked aren't we

>make up rules
Kindly elaborate when what I said was in the constitution. Do you honestly think you can make up the constitution easily?

Mahathir and his 14D Batu Seremban. The snake will slither.

Also I am pleasantly surprised the balance between pro-oppo and pro-govt views in Jow Forums. I always see its a PH fedora tipping hugbox when I go to lowyat, I can't hear good balance of fact checks by both sides.

But what about Dutdut? If he kicks the bucket, will he get that treatment too?

PH will reap what they sow when they broke up with PAS instead of discussing and doing some kind of reconciliation

PH has reddit for that, /asean/ has two chinks constantly sucking the off.

>But the corruption of 1MDB alone was RM42 billion or more
did RM24 billion literally get stolen? Like it is counted and gone?

BN may uphold "Cash is King"
PH may uphold "Bootlick is King"

But PAS? "Fuck you, Islam first"

>think you can make up the constitution easily?
apparently now they do since they kicked her out and also ignore the repercussions

so yeah this one changes the game and cheats on it the one with corona didn't

Sorry I was mistaken, I missed Saifuddin Abdullah who is PKR, but he was UMNO leader before, so who knows if he is more loyal to Mahathir.

In the Council of Elders set up by Mahathir, all of them are Mahathir's faction except Jomo so I think this is his way of consolidating power before Anwar gets out.

I can't say I like Mahathir or Najib in all honesty, I don't have feelings for Hadi. I just want cool heads to prevail instead of the usual "Kau mesti macai xyz" rhetoric
