The older you get, the more likely you are to be overweight.
Your metabolism slows down with age (especially true with women) and if you don't pay attention to what you eat you're going to get very fat.
Probably obese people percentage are lower in males because males are more likely to die earlier, and obese people mortality is a lot higher. So combining these two factors a obese male is likely to die, lowering the % of obese people over 75 for males much more than the female one.
Females are pretty consistent with the % of fat people after menopause.
