Just found out that Finnish government counts me officially as a Fennoswede even though i don't speak Swedish at all.
Apparently my mothers first language is swedish which is the reason. Nevertheless our family spoke only Finnish during my childhood and not Swedish at all. Even my cousins from mothers side are naturally fennoswedes but they speak Finnish as the 1st language.
There's only 300k fennoswedes in Finland accoring the government so i'm wondering what is the real amount fennoswedes that speak swedish over finnish? I mean i never thought myself as a fennoswede(and still won't).
Its a Finnish person who is bilingual or speaks swedish as first language? Their passport says "ethnicity: finnish"

It's not stereotypical meme though, majority of Finland is atheist and speaks Finnish and Finns are known to be very introverted and freak out if you small talk them as a stranger. But I did think lots of Finns had Asiatic features but with light hair/light eyes.

The official term in english is "swedish speaking finns". It's a lot more natural to call them fennoswedes as it is what we finns call them

Most look Nordic but occasionally there's Finns that look obviously Asiatic, I've seen Finns here post their class pictures and there's always a few that have Asian features but pale skin/light hair/light eyes, Finland's main haplogroup is also common in Central Asia
