Well glad I'm not the only one. I went to the Reichstag and even just for the fact that an intense fire fight was had between the Soviets and Germans culminating in one of the most iconic photos of the war but that historical feeling was swamped by large Asian and American tour groups and Turks swarming the lawns in front asking for money, not even asking either just holding signs with English on it and standing in front of you.
Also this. That's not including the lines or the fact that you are pushed through the busier attractions to make room for more people. It's just shopping in every down core, the same shopping I could do anywhere, literally. If I ever go traveling again I'm going to go to smaller towns and just hangout there for a bit.
