How about no
Imagine the amount of peasant uneducation you need to transform respvblica into rzeczpospolita
Sure.
Poland was great as part of great Russian empire.
Let's do it again?
It does not matter, żmudzin
Belarus is the real Lithuania
No one gives a shit about your worthless clay
rzeczpospolita means republic tho
Keep dreaming.
take us! dude aids lmao
Typical retarded poleshit.
>żmudzin
A dialect of Lithuanian. The other is Aukštaitian, where Vilnius is - the core of GDL.
Belarusians and Ukrainians were Ruthenians, not Lithuanians.
en.wikipedia.org
>The Principality of Polotsk escaped the Mongol invasion of Rus' in 1237-1239. However, pagan Lithuanians began consolidating and attacking lands of the principality, and in 1240 Polotsk became a vassal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It officially became part of Lithuania in 1307, though it retained some degree of local autonomy until the 1390s. Then the principality was abolished and became part of the Połock Voivodeship.
keked
Meanwhile Belarussians already understood they're Litwins:
> european tax payer will pay for this
Ukraine seems to be really mad that we're in the EU and you're not.
like half of it tb h
ok, so if you're fine with it...
Litwins are inhabitants of GDL, regardless of their ethnicity. His ancestry is Ruthenian.
And how does it mean that modern Lithuanians are not real Lithuanians and that Belarusians are the only true successors of GDL?
Boy, you poles are really dumb.
I am mad, because you are arrogant and imperialistic scum.
>And how does it mean that modern Lithuanians are not real Lithuanians and that Belarusians are the only true successors of GDL?
Because "modern Lithuanians" from Republic of Lithuania don't praise renowned GDL figures, like Kościuszko? Hell, we even had to REMIND them about the 3rd May constitution so they started to celebrate it (they did just several years ago). How can they be real successors of GDL if they don't care about important events or its history?
>said a country that kills innocent Donbass people just because they didn't want to be part of Ukraine
Why should we grant Ukrainians all freedoms but Ukrainians can opress other people?
>Because "modern Lithuanians" from Republic of Lithuania don't praise renowned GDL figures, like Kościuszko?
Why should they praise him? He fought for the Polish Commonwealth, not GDL. It existed in name only by that time. Everything was polonized.
>had to REMIND them about the 3rd May constitution
Because it's important for poles, not them. What does it have to do with Lithuania?
Also it's funny because Kościuszko didn't even speak Belarusian or Lithuanian. He spoke Polish, because his family was a polonized szlachta.
And you have no idea about Belarusians. Most of them don't give a shit about it, it's quite a small minority larping as successors of GDL.
Belarus, I...
>panslavshit colours
get that gay ass blue colour outta my flag
Well, Adam Mickiewicz only speak Polish too but was an ethnetic Belarusian and considered himself Lithuanian.
Yea exactly they all belonged to a polyethic country that doesn't exist anymore, what's most important is that everyone could band themselves under one flag. To try and compare it to today would be absurd.
>Also it's funny because Kościuszko didn't even speak Belarusian
Actually there were many controversies regarding whether he did or not. There were some rumours about him writing in Belarussian to his mother. Regardless, he was born in those lands and he was a top lad all around, so I don't see why Belarussians couldn't be proud of him. He's a multinational hero.
Why is hetalia so fucking trash and more importantly why is there no good alternative
I want historical porn without the gay weebshit
We still don't celebrate May 3rd constitution.
>without the gay weebshit
So the best part about it?
ur dumb & stink
image didn't post baka
Is this the weeb equivalent of Weed Gang?
one day my friend
>Estonia and Latvia in it
>Moldova not
Why?
They can be proud of whoever and whatever they want. That's their right.
But screeching about Lithuanians having nothing to do with GDL, that they are just some "żmudzins", just because they don't really like the way the union with Poland has turned out, is stupid.
this
yes sire
this is butthurt : the board what do you expect
fug forgot my name cos I'm posting on /his/
Why? WHY? WHY???
You don't like them, because they are not proud of being cucked by you? It's the same way with us.
You only like Belarusians, because they are quite. But that's just the way they are. They don't want to have troubles with anyone, be it Russians or Poles.
Never.
*sigh*
You're all just a bufferzone between Russia and the real humans to the west.
(((humans))) not welcome itt
Mam przypomnieć że bez Wielkiej Litwy nie będzie Wielkiej Polski.
I bez Polski nie będzie Litwy.
t. his country was a part of Lithuania by 700 years
Your "nationalists" are cucks anyway. Wiatrowicz has polish suname, as Korczyński.
You are "anti communists" but commies give you so called "western Ukraine" (real western Ukrainie is Vinnica).
I saw an articale which says that if not commies - modern Belarus would be like Austria to Germany - not the same nation, but the same language.
I really hope Polish would be more widely spoken in Belarus, because I like the language.
>He fought for the Polish Commonwealth
no such thing
>Everything was polonized.
Yeah, I want to see how priests in Greek Catholic churches spoke Polish to their Polish-speaking parishioners, kek.
>Because it's important for poles, not them. What does it have to do with Lithuania?
So why do they celebrate it now then?
Why do Ukrainians consider the Soviet Union as "their" country, but Lithuanians shouldn't consider the Commonwealth as their country, even though Lithuanians joined it WILLINGLY? Ask any Welsh or Scot if he doesn't care about BRITISH history. It's also his history, ffs.
and I see no reason to reject it.
>Also it's funny because Kościuszko didn't even speak Belarusian or Lithuanian. He spoke Polish, because his family was a polonized szlachta.
By this logic, there are almost no Belarussians, no Irish people and very few Ukrainians in the world, because almost no one speaks Irish, Belarussian and Ukrainian language is not very popular either.
you do, it's officially celebrated in Lithuania, the Seimas voted about it, just it's not a day off, like here
as I wrote - without Great Lithuania can't be Great Poland.
Belarussian is just alternate Russian. Dialects of regions from I have roots - are closer to Belarussian rather to standart Russian.
We'll plant another pretender in Moscow and make the Polish-Lithuanian-Latvian-Moldovian-Belorussian-Ukrainian-Russian Commonwealth into reality lamo.
I also found a way how Belarussian can be written in Polish latin.

I changed orhography a bit and used g except h because belarussian г is [ɣ], not [ɦ].
Its mentioned thats about all for the celebration, if it was day off it would be nice, someone suggested to change day off from May 1st to 3rd.
>it's another thread of slavs arguing who will form the superstate to include all slavs even though the end result will be the same
It's liberal thing, not true polish-lithuanian. At first Lithuanian elites should change into more pro-Polish.
>Its mentioned thats about all for the celebration
Still, it means that the Republic of Lithuania associates itself with the Commonwealth and the constitution and it's important for you, unlike what says
.
Nope, Great Lithuania was a baltic state.
Only one question - when?
don't worry, you won't be included, we don't consider you slavs as long as your language doesn't have cases
>there are actual baltboos in Russia
more like the natives. the elites like us now because we're muh baste and stronk, when the populace still hates us.
I am Greek
>Why do Ukrainians consider the Soviet Union as "their" country
Are you retarded?
>t. his country was a part of Lithuania by 700 years
>russian education
>Are you retarded?
He's Polish, of course he is. His mental gymnastics are amazing.
Belarusian is not the same language as polish, you moron.
>I really hope Polish would be more widely spoken in Belarus, because I like the language.
Nobody gives a fuck what you like.
>t. his country was a part of Lithuania by 700 years
Ukraine was bought by Polish nobility in 1569, so Lithuania no longer ruled these lands

thread theme
>no such thing
All things considered it was pretty much just polish.
>Yeah, I want to see how priests in Greek Catholic churches spoke Polish to their Polish-speaking parishioners, kek.
Are you fucking dumb? Do they use Polish in Catholic churches? And the fact that Catholicism was enforced, despite these lands being Orthodox for more than 1000 years.
>So why do they celebrate it now then?
Do they?
>piecze kacapa
za każdym razem
please post in Lithuanian
>very few Ukrainians in the world
>Ukrainian language is not very popular either
False
>no Belarussians
Well, they are trying really hard to be a non-nation. Speak russian, entered all their puppet organizations. Tolerate this neo-soviet eternal leader. Trying to steal other's history...
It's closer to Russian (dialects, not the standart language) rather to Ukrainian.
These threads are always fun.
Give back all the land which was given to you by comminists.
>trying to steal other's history
lal
You don't understand. If Russians will choice a different history - for your country it would be even worser.
Because ethnically Russians can be west slavs.
>implying stealing lithuanian herb and polish flag and speaking soutern dialect of Russian will transform them into a nation
>Are you retarded?
Yeah, now tell me that Ukrainians don't consider the Soviet history as "their" history. You do, you claim almost any important Soviet person, scientist or leader what Ukrainian. Any person over 40 in Ukraine will say the USSR was his country, not any occupant, just his own fatherland.
>Are you fucking dumb? Do they use Polish in Catholic churches
of course, since the 1960s everything in Roman catholic churches is in national languages, not only in Poland but everywhere.
>And the fact that Catholicism was enforced, despite these lands being Orthodox for more than 1000 years.
Sure, that's why don't say that "everything was polonized".
>Do they?
Yes they do , they just don't have a day off but there is an official celebration in their parliament.
>False
Comparing to the number of Ukrainians in Ukraine, it is true. Come on, less than half of Ukrainians speak Ukrainian, the only official language of the country, on a daily basis. Almost all main cities are mostly Russian-speaking. I can't think of any other example of such thing in the world.
>now tell me that Ukrainians don't consider the Soviet history as "their" history.
Eastern Ukrainians do. And believe me, they are a lot more adequate rather than "western".
youtube.com
this choir is from Russia, and the song is in Ukrainian
>At first Lithuanian elites should change into more pro-Polish.
Why would they need this? They can be a sovereign and independent country with its own culture, language.
And also rich on top of that. There's going to be a New Hanseatic League, with Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.
politico.eu
Why be a polish puppet again? They can fuck off.
Lithuania has it own's culture only in Lithuania, but has almost no cultural influence in Belarus.
>celebration in their parliament.
Meaning only 100 people pretend to care about, while in reality 99% of people never heard of this "holiday" and don't care.
So no, no one is really celebrating it no matter how much you're trying to push it.
>since the 1960s
So? We are talking about completely different time period.
>Sure, that's why don't say that "everything was polonized".
Catholicization was a form of polinization.
>Come on, less than half of Ukrainians speak Ukrainian
1/3 of population speaks russian, max.
>which was given to you by comminists.
We took our land ourselves. So shut up and give back Siberia, Tatarstan, Kavkaz, Kalmikia and all others.
>this choir is from Russia, and the song is in Ukrainian
Kuban is Ukraine. Thanks for the bridge, it's going be very useful when we will take both back.
>Lithuania has it own's culture only in Lithuania, but has almost no cultural influence in Belarus.
So? Did I say anything otherwise?
you faggots are literally living in parallel history, but your idiotism is ruined your country and the lives of people.
I hope Janukowicz will come back.
BRESHITI!
>internet is a great representation of language situation in a country, where only half of population has it
>russian search engine
>2010
>Meaning only 100 people pretend to care about, while in reality 99% of people never heard of this "holiday" and don't care.
Most of Poles have no idea about 3rd May constitution and its meaning either, we only know it existed and we have a day off, hurray. Even one of our important politicians has said lately that the 3rd May constitution is still in force, because it's the only constitution you hear about so often yet you don't know what the fuck this was.
But your parliament recognized it as an important document for your state, that's what counts.
>So? We are talking about completely different time period.
Sermons, prayers and songs were always in Polish, so people could understand and repeat them.
>Catholicization was a form of polinization.
So how did Poles force you to speak Polish in Greek Catholic churches then?
>1/3 of population speaks russian, max.
It's bullshit and you know it. Pretty much everyone east of Dnestr uses Russian, except for rural regions maybe. But I guess you count every example of surzhik as Ukrainian. Also, your media are dominated by Russian.
But even if it was 1/3, so what? Still, you can speak only Russian and consider yourself Ukrainian and everyone is fine with it. So why you couldn't speak only Polish, but be Lithuanian/Belarussian/whatver?
You have to be completely fucking retarded to believe that only less than 1/3 of population in Western Ukraine speak Ukrainian.
You have to be completely fucking retarted to believe that Wiatrowicz and Korczyński have ukrainian surnames.
And I've just checked news there's nothing about it accepting as a holiday only talked about it in remembrance of it, it was proposed to be as a holiday but got rejected.
I hope it will never happen. We don't need useless masses of lands with literal imbeciles who inhabit it.
>only talked about it in remembrance of it
whatever you call it, this is kind of celebration and it means it is important for you, you consider it part of your history
we don't even mention Prussian, Austrian or Russian legal acts, even though Poland was part of these countries for 123 years, we simply consider it occupation and all these acts were forcibly imposed in Poland. Lithuanians don't think the same way about 3rd May Constitution
you should be pro-Polish.
as Poles have to be pro-Lithuanian.
>you, you consider it part of your history
You keep using that word but I don't think you understand what it means.
And no I don't consider it part of my history.
> Lithuanians don't think the same way about 3rd May Constitution
Yes we do, there were even protests against the "remembrance" of this shit in parliament.
Fact is that constitution was Polish chauvinistic imperialistic shit, original draft not once even mentioned Lithuania.
And you fucking act like parliament represents the thought of whole country, while in reality 85% of country doesn't like them.
>very useful when we will take both back.
how? you are broke
If there is a question "who sent a man into space first", Ukrainians will say "we did". Lithuanians will say "Russians/Soviets did". That's how you check if people consider some history "their" history or not.
For Ukrainians, the USSR was a fatherland. For Balts, it was an occupant.
And the Commonwealth was a fatherland for Lithuanians, and an occupant for Ukrainians. When Lithuanians mention the 3rd May constitution, they say "it was OUR constitution, we signed it [together with Poles]". Ukrainians will never say anything like that, even though this constitution was a binding law in most of Ukraine too.
>And you fucking act like parliament represents the thought of whole country, while in reality 85% of country doesn't like them.
Yeah, you're just an edgy kid. If I see the parliament (chosen by the people) who says that this constitution should be celebrated (even by mentioning only) in Lithuania and you - an user, who should I believe then?
