The -ius names are mostly priest names, thus latinized. Swedish nobility have names with a description and an object, like the stereotypical Silverswärd ( silver sword) or Gyllenstjiärna ( goldenstar). Swedish upper class merchant families would sometimes have latinized names, but upper class millitary families had names like Björkqvist, Almqvist, Malmkvist, Stenlöv, gudlöv, etc etc.
