So im coming to the realization that i can not day or swing trade. I'm just not smart enough not to over trade away my profits. been thinking about getting a bot setup. anyone here use one. General bot thread.

also not sure how you are having problem swing trading?

day trading is much harder with the bots but swing trading is just making money off of patience essentially, bots are making money off speed.

even w/o bot competition id probably just overtrade my profits away. i'm honestly not that disciplined enough.

so it's not a bot problem it's a discipline problem, as i thought.

here let me manage all your fund for you m8, it's easier to trade when it's other peoples money.

idk i guess i just have bad strategy. maybe i'm actually daytrading. i've been searching for guides/tutorials/videos or whatever on swing trading but i guess its just not really clicking. do you recomend a place to learn the ropes?

Figure out what you're actually doing before asking about bots. You still have to choose a strategy for your bot to execute before you can start using it. Right now you're wanting to drive an F1 before you even know how to drive a pink Barbie Corvette.

thats a good point. i guess if i give the bot my failing strategy it'll just lose money faster than me. i've been trying to get better at this for about a year. holding worked fine but i guess i just want to take it to the next level. i finally just started using trading view and constantly see ideas with fib charts and targets etc and i guess i assumed that was swing trading so i went searching around for how to vids and what not but idk maybe its just beyond me. can you recommend a simple strategy for a brainlet like me? or a place to get started learning?

Ive found a lot of good tips for this podcast called Chat With Traders. It's on Youtube. In learning how to trade recently I've realized that it's all psychological really. You have to work on that first. Even taking the time out to create/tweak a trade bot. The bot doesn't just go and make money. It might, but nothing is as simple as it looks.

Tradingview is a very good start. Who are you following on there?

basically the loser strategy is: fomo into the top of pumps, ride down to the bottom, then sell, then get mad when the coin goes up again without you.
if you just do what the other party on each of those trades is doing you're pretty close to correct swing trading

i only just realized i could follow ppl. normally id search a coin and see the ideas down below but ofc itd be too late. right now i only follow one user called cryptotradesignals and sometimes ill read that magicpoopcoin guy. got any recomendations on who to follow? i'm all ears.
