I wonder if it's too late to go back to experience San Andreas
Time for what?
It's really easy to pirate and mod on any laptop. Vice City will always be my favourite cause of nostalgia, humour and aesthetics, even if the mechanics are a blocky mess
Imagine being a Republic
Those interested in history should try searching the OP image.
You're better off not knowing. Easier that way.
Still waiting for one.
Sneed?
Is he some sort of Yaoi Robespierre?
Uhh no, but I'm sure the two were very intimate in a weird necrophilic sense.
Surprised we're performing so well given the DOB situation

Beautiful city, amazing people!
I long for the day I can stamp on blacks' heads again.
Good evening.
Evening. How are you?

REEEEEEE
Grand actually. It was a quiet day at work so I spent most my time pretending to do stuff while following the events in Israel online.
Glad to hear.
Were you celebrating this glorious day for Israel with flags and bunting on your desk?
If I had to guess Froggy probably has a little Reich naval ensign on his desk and a little Eisernes Kreuz paperweight
Think that anyone noticed?
Why do you want to add them?
No. While I would tend to be more understanding of Israel's position and actions than most people in Ireland, there was something about today's events that made me feel deeply uncomfortable. I think it was as result of the unbridled Israeli triumphalism juxtaposed with the killing of 50+ protesters on the Israeli border. What accentuated that feeling was when I tuned into Sky News after lunch and they were running footage of the official opening of the new US embassy in Jerusalem side-by-side with footage of the skirmishes between the IDF and Palestinian protesters. It felt very surreal - like something out of a movie.
>Think that anyone noticed?
Nah.
Supposedly it may be worse tomorrow as that is the official day of the catastrophe or whatever they label. Nobody knows for sure yet, I suppose.
Really makes one think what the psyche of Palestinians is like, throwing themselves against the Israeli border knowing they are going to fired upon. I guess they feel as though it is all they can do.
*label it?
>Really makes one think what the psyche of Palestinians is like, throwing themselves against the Israeli border knowing they are going to fired upon. I guess they feel as though it is all they can do
There was one man on the news who said that. Saying that they had nothing left and nothing left to lose. A very liberty or death attitude.
What would you do if you were in their situation?
Was reading some conservative news reports out of the US and they seemed to focus quite heavily on the IDF reports of Hamas hiding armed terrorists amongst the protestors. Suppose that taints the view that the Palestinians are the innocents a little bit.
And I suppose from the Israeli perspective, they can't just let thousands of angry people cross the border.

This video never gets old
Probably much the same. I'm don't have much knowledge on the peace negotiations there, but I can't imagine the Israelis are much for compromising, what with the US backing them and them being so superior economically, militarily and so on. Plus weakness wouldn't help them against all their neighbours wishing to kill them.
Suppose it would be similar to SF/IRA trying to deal with the DUP, in the 1970/80/90 (not that they existed then) and without much in the way of an external strong diplomatic hand, a la the Irish and British governments.
Rally
>but I can't imagine the Israelis are much for compromising
They were in the past. Much less so now however. Ironically enough it was the Palestinians that were infamous for their lack of flexibility in the past.
Don't forget the Claire Byrne Live special on the upcoming referendum tonight, lads.
>They were in the past
What year was this around? Has Israeli politics shifted a lot since then (i.e. become more right-wing)? Any reasons you are aware of for this?
How the tables have turned.
Shame the RTE player doesn't work for me.
>they seemed to focus quite heavily on the IDF reports of Hamas hiding armed terrorists amongst the protestors
They're hoping that pointing out the bad apples will be enough to spoil the bunch in the public eye.
There was one line I heard, I think from Netanyahu or at least some Israeli official, accusing Palestine of sending women and children to the front lines to evoke support. It did come off quite a bit as them trying to excuse their killing of civilians by making it sound like there were terrorists pushing women in front of IDF guns.
>they can't just let thousands of angry people cross the border
Israel has had a very contentious border for its entire 70 year existence and they've kept it secure. It's fine to use tear gas and water cannons and whatnot to deter protesters but the Palestinians were armed with slings, rocks and other bits and pieces and they were responded to with snipers and gunmen. That sort of force should only be applied when there's a serious breach or risk of one, I think it's fair to say Israel makes their position in the middle east sound a lot more perilous to excuse themselves for their unwarranted aggression.
>their traditional mourning ceremonies
Is that what those cars were doing?
>Claire Byrne Live special
Hate missing all these shows, have to go to bed in a few minutes. Don't even be able to catch the Sunday Game now.
Guess I can watch them back when I get a chance, i.e. never.
Conas atá sibh, mo buachaillí?
>What year was this around?
Up until relatively recently. The shift towards a hardline stance began during the George W Bush era from what I've read. Obviously Israel wasn't consistently open to compromise (especially when at war with its Arab neighbours), but when peace deals were proposed in the past, Israel had a tendency to be more flexible whereas the Palestinians were more liable to adopt an all or nothing stance. Both sides softened their stances during the Clinton era, but we've never been able to return to a point where both sides are so open to compromise since then.
>Has Israeli politics shifted a lot since then (i.e. become more right-wing)?
Yeah, Benjamin Netanyahu's administration in particular has been notably unyielding.
>Any reasons you are aware of for this?
There are many internal and external reasons. I honestly don't trust my own knowledge enough to give you an accurate run-down on what those reasons are however. Anything to do with Israeli politics is massively complicated.
>They're hoping that pointing out the bad apples will be enough to spoil the bunch in the public eye.
If RTÉ's coverage is anything to go buy, nobody's is buying that.
>It did come off quite a bit as them trying to excuse their killing of civilians by making it sound like there were terrorists pushing women in front of IDF guns.
True, but there did seem to be a lot of women and children at those protests nonetheless.
>Is that what those cars were doing?
According to the news, yes. Mourning the death of a motorcyclist by engaging in highly dangerous driving in a residential area. Top minds.
>have to go to bed in a few minutes
You seem to be going earlier every night.
Whos watching the Shmshmortion debate on RTE lads
Are there many Jews living in Ireland?
>That sort of force should only be applied when there's a serious breach or risk of one
I recall having a bit of a debate/argument with someone a number of years ago, around the time of the 2014(?) incidents, about Israel's excessive use of force. Don't recall what was said but I believe they thought it was all fair game.
Imagine like-minded people would argue much the same these days. Think some people are fairly tolerant of Israel, regardless of what they do, and there will always be an excuse/reason.
2014 incidents may have been more justifiable, I can't recall.
>You seem to be going earlier every night
I always go around the 10. I should go earlier though, haven't been sleeping particularly well recently.
Woke at around 4 last night and couldn't get back to sleep again. Blame you all for making too many posts I just had to read.
(You) for writing the post. All I've got currently, sorry.
Just pic related
Yes, Cork is infested with them as Mayo is infested with blacks.
a couple thousand
some are secular jews that are recent immigrants
most jews here left for the uk or us due to their practice of endogamy during the 20th century
>but there did seem to be a lot of women and children at those protests
Which they have a right to be in fairness. These border protests have a history of violence but that doesn't excuse killing them. I doubt the women were the ones on the front lines tossing petrol bombs and burning tires. And even if a few women and children run across and escape into Israel, they would hardly pose a threat that a few policemen couldn't stop and send them back over.
>According to the news, yes
Wait what? I was joking, I didn't even think that's what you were referring to.
>2014 incidents may have been more justifiable
Today and yesterday did have a higher death toll than usual. And the Palestinians have a right to panic when America is dropping all sense of impartiality.
Did you ever meet any of them?
not that i know of
About half of them seem to be living in Dublin
Is that why it's your capital?
i dont recognize dublin as the capital
it's funny though, traditional jewish places like portobello in the city have been taken over by muslim immigrants
Guys, I found the Lidl Online Assessment for job applicants to actually be kinda hard. Am I retarded? Has too much time browsing Jow Forums fried my brain?
I did it, answered all the questions how I taught an Aldi manger would want you to be like not friendly and overtly efficient like how they are in Aldi but I fucking bombed being too honest
can't wait til we're killing babies lads
Same
I don't know, the audience on Byrne seemed pretty against it and informed on what abortion actually is.
Aw shit man. I tried to pick the options I thought they might like, but the long division and percentages were the hardest bit. I barely scraped a B in GCSE Maths. I dunno know nuffin.
Those math questions were bull shite. I did foundation so I didn't even bother wasting time on them, besides, the till adds up everything. That's just a pointless question
Lidl / Aldi pay their staff more than the other supermarkets so I'd imagine they can afford to be picky since they're not at the bottom of the barrel.
True, halfway through I just started using a calculator on my smart phone, like everyone else does.
Hmm, I see. Maybe I should put my standards lower. Like a Tesco. I wish I wasn't so dumb.
>I just started using a calculator on my smart phone, like everyone else does.
Could have just googled the answers then, couldn't you?
Nah, the Lidl quiz opens a new window, so by the time I got onto my browser, Googled it, and got back, it would've been quicker to just grab my phone.
Should I just suck up my pride and become a professional cuddler?
Then why do they always pick gobshites. Everyone who works there is a bigger brainlet than me
>Tesco
Don't degrade yourself. Twice the work for shiter pay
Woooooooo
>become a professional cuddler?
I'm not sure you're even smart enough for that to tell you the truth.
I thought Lild/Aldi were meant to work you like a black? The ones in Tesco are always dossing of
>Wait what? I was joking, I didn't even think that's what you were referring to.
Rewatch the 9pm News on the RTÉ Player if you don't believe me.
Yeah, I was genuinely surprised. I expected it to be full of blue-haired feminists.
Tesco and Dunnes are the cushy ones, staff are always standing around chatting. Pay is really bad though.
>Rewatch the 9pm News on the RTÉ Player if you don't believe me
Jesus. It shouldn't be surprising that the cars were stolen but at least they're slightly more intelligent than I gave them credit for.
>in tribute of local criminal who died tragically on the roads while carrying a gun
>tragically
/éire/ couldn't make up a story about Dublin more Dublin than this.
Dunnes is meant to be a fucking awful place to work. I've heard some horror stories from people who worked there.
>/éire/ couldn't make up a story about Dublin more Dublin than this.
That's why I felt it necessary to draw everybody's attention to it.
