I'm tired of being a fucking dumbass wagecuck stockroom slave
Is it too late to go back to school and study something useful? I've already picked up programming in my spare time, got the basics of JS, Python and Ruby down.
It's not too late for me is it bros? Please I can't take this menial slavery anymore.
I went to college at 23 after wagecucking for years in retail. Had a great time, tons of 18-20 yr old girls, younger guys generally respect you, best age tbqh.
I went back at 22. Now im 24 and it already helped me land a job. May as well start at a community college where you could be taking classes with 18 year olds, moms, and old folks.
Jack Gonzalez
probably gonna do this
2 years at community 2 in at a real school
Ryder Powell
I'm 19 now - I have a couple people in my classes in their mid to late 20s. They're all really bright, useful people whom I suspect will go a lot further than most of the fucking idiots I'm in school with.
Also, slightly older guys get tons of pussy. It seems pretty great as far as ive seen.
Lincoln Myers
If you've got the money go for it. It's never to late to improve yourself and move foward. We aren't all going to make it, but that doesn't mean you can't do it. Be the best that you can be for yourself and the people you love, go for it!
t. Wagecuck who didn't make it
Nathaniel Russell
>falling for the college meme in current year >wasting money and time to move from a shitty wagecuck job to a slightly less shittier wagecuck job Buy a cheap truck, some quality equipment and start your own landscaping business. Add some gimmick to set yourself apart from the spics. Offer organic plants. Or call yourself a landscape designer and act slightly faggy (shouldn’t be too difficult for you). Hustle hard and in a few years you’ll run an entire crew and make some serious cash.
Cameron Jenkins
>start your own landscaping business Just work landscaping and learn to code at the same time.
I did that in high school, now I do freelance software development to pay for university. I also have a digital media agency which I outsource practically everything for
Juan Bennett
t. rural and suburban retard
Ryder Carter
>Just become a professional toilet cleaner while you practice juggling on the side. I did it and so should you!
Go to a junior college first. The age demographics are much older and you'll save money. Plus when you get to college you won't be in the lower division classes with a bunch of teenie boppers
Jackson Torres
just buy a tonka truck and pick up old tires and used parts to sell at the local junkyard
Colton Gomez
Enjoy breathing brake dust and paying rent to Mr. Boomerstein
Nathaniel Johnson
It was better to wait if you would’ve wasted it at 18.
Charles Lee
Are you retarded. Most people are that age. However youll have easier time getting young puss than guys in their age.
T. 24 and 16 puss
Ayden Ross
Lol no. LOTS of around-30 years olds in uni. Some courses also have a big amount of 40++ years olds
Christian Cox
Stay cucked soy millennials. A man who has never worked with his hands is not a man.
Lucas Howard
>Big work >Muh hands >Dumb millennials >Replaced by machines in 5 years.
Idiots like this don't get their definition of "hands" is changing. Learn to code, those who can't will dig holes for their universal wage in 2030, all while an automated management algorithm lectures them on the proper depth and technique for hole digging.
Julian Price
Nobody gives a flying fuck how old you are on a college campus, you fucking pussy.
Parker Roberts
i wanna go back now at 30. for the tang. going for any other reason is a complete waste of money
Jace Ortiz
Not at all. Do it! You will obviously be a little older than the average, but there will most likely be guys even older than you. I’m 23 yo studying business management and my age is not a problem at all. Sometimes I feel a little old at parties, social gatherings etc. because I’m more hmm.. mature than most other students. But in some ways it’s an advantage to be a little older: you are more responsible, more experienced (in life in general), people sometimes respect you more etc. Don’t worry about it!
If you want you can write your email and I can give you some advice. I was thinking about Studying CS too fwiw. Either way, good luck!
Lucas Long
First of all I had my landscaping business in my early 20s. I’m now a successful app developer and a mildly successful degenerate crypto trader. >muh automation >muh UBI Don’t believe everything that (((Silicon Valley))) says. How the fuck is a robot going to do landscaping? Even the most advanced models from Boston dynamics are clunky as fuck and run out of juice very quickly.
Nathan Morris
Source. MOTHERFUCKING NOW.
Gavin Wood
Thats because nobody wants to work 8 hours a day, it's hard, and then they will even pay ridiculous taxes. In countries where the uni is "free" that is very common people are 'professional students' for 10-20 years to avoid work life
I'm 24 and I'm going to start college in the fall. Should be fun.
David Garcia
Im 23 and going to college, no its not to late. I personally wasted my years of education because fuck the system. Wish I had found out earlier about BTC, would have been a perfect match from what I can tell.
Jeremiah Stewart
Go back to school to get pussy. If you already get pussy, then keep coding and focus on web development, start building an app or something that interests you. Free courses online and YouTube tutorials are awesome. You’ll save a lot of money.
Jack Thomas
Had a friend who borrowed my truck to do this. He had some fancy expensive court mandated insurance that covered him in any vehicle, and I didn't have any insurance, so I let him borrow it. He would scrap old farm properties and cars and find the craziest shit
Noah Morris
Fuck college. Do projects in the languages you know, setup a github with your work then apply as an entry level coder at places. Nobody cares about a piece of paper from a diploma mill. All that matters is your skills and ability to deliver.
Angel Nelson
Not at all and actually going @ 18 is fucking dumb. Nobody knows what they want to do at that age. I wish I went later.
I basically got a degree in something I have no use for all because I was young and didn't know what the fuck I wanted to do (I still don't really).
You'll actually have a better chance of success now. Good luck user.
David Cooper
Right now I'm trying to get a basic computer repair job to fluff my resume while I get something like a CCNA. Computer networking sounds like a blast. All the normies think you're a wizard and you get to work from home. I got a buddy who did the same thing and he's fucking off with his girlfriend in Europe more often than not. Super jelly.
Joseph Ramirez
Double posting cuz this fag is right. I want nothing to do with what I went to school for at 18. Treading water til I was 25 has let me know the kind of work I want to do and what direction I want to go in.
Oliver Wood
I went back at 26 so..
Ethan Reyes
Seriously OP.... don't even fucking question it. Just throw a couple grand into chainlink go back to your slave job. And just wait till September.
JuSt fucking listen to me and do it
Bentley Cooper
this. please. if you have any hope you will listen.
Daniel Cooper
22 is a nice age to start college. You're probably slightly less retarded than you were at 18 as well a slightly more motivate so it's basically an advantage. I started at 24 but I feel if I had started at 18 I would probably be settling for any passing grade while not really learning like I did in high school instead of actively working on truly understanding concepts and getting straight A's like I'm doing now. You can do it OP, and if you already picked up programming, you're ahead if you want to do CS.
Jonathan Barnes
What are the best degree if I don't want to be a coder but want to know how blockchain and cryptography works? Is math or applied math degrees worth it?
People go to college in their 50's and 60's, faggot
Asher Torres
There was a 24 year old in my freshman orientation group. Back then, I thought that guy was analogous to the twice-left-back 16 year old I knew in 8th grade. But no, 22 is not too old.
Logan Evans
It's never too late to go back to school. 70+ year olds get their college degrees.
When I was in college I often studied with an older woman who was taking similar courses. She was a 50+ year old grandmother. She was getting a degree so she could get a better position at a financial company she worked at. She was in place to become an upper manager or something but needed extra educational credentials. 22 is nothing.
Samuel Peterson
>basics
Also CS is a meme at this point. Don't pick it unless you actually enjoy programming and plan to become proficient or you're in for a rude awakening.
Ayden Brown
I know for a fact that Western Governors University, an actually respected not-shitshow online nonprofit university, teaches courses in cryptography as part of their information security degree. Infosec is going to be a hot job market in the coming decade, so you'll be able to make bank with that degree and learn what you want to learn as well. Also, you end up with industry certifications as part of your assessment process for WGU.
Oh, and it's cheap. $3500 per term covers learning materials, classes, testing, everything. Also, businesses respect degrees from there, and they're regionally accredited in the pacific northwest.
You might want to look into them. Graduate without debt at your own pace and all that.
Jace Lewis
Nigger, I went back to school at 38 and just finished my bachelor's degree. Employers don't want to hire you if you're going entry level at 50+, but otherwise, they only care about who has the skill to do the jobs.
Caleb Green
You can only make money doing things you like. Otherwise you will suck and lose to competition and people who like and are talented at it.
I like swindling people. What should I do for a living?
Jaxson Cook
Blowjobs. The market is booming right now
Samuel Gonzalez
pretty much this.
Luke Sanders
>doesn't realize that all sales and fundraising is essentially swindling people
Mason Hall
Side question from not OP: Should I get a business degree?
Joseph Hall
I'm 24 and beginning my first proper year of college this fall. Moving to the city. Should be great. I expect to fuck lots of girls.
Previously I have been living at home since age 18 and completed an AA at community college.
My only problem is that I might have to pay 40k/year out the ass cause my crypto gains exempt me from financial aid.
Elijah Parker
Post modern studies is more lucrative right now. Get it before the crash!
Isaiah Lopez
It's either business of some sort of IT degree. I would go IT in a heartbeat, because I love computers, but I hate computer users. Getting stuck doing end user tech support for morons with MBAs would be my idea of hell.
>special note: not all people with MBAs are morons, but there are certainly morons with MBAs
it is definitely not too late. For certain degrees you will find its quite young actually. Chose what you want to do very carefully though, take an extra year if you need to decide. In all realness pick something you actually like (maybe not liberal arts), otherwise you will always be wagecucking. Look through a fucking syllabus 20 times for every school before you decide to go. Unironicly good luck.

Elijah Foster
Hello no. If anything, 18 is too early for most of these kids.
Dylan Cox
Fuck off rude poster
Jackson Watson
Some jocks delay starting college until 21/22 just to get an edge on their competitors. It is not that weird
Kevin Cooper
>just create and manage a successful landscaping business Not a bad idea, but not as easy as it sounds. I had a teacher in High School who was a retired millionaire who sold the landscaping business he made in his youth. It requires initiative and skill in many different areas, like a mini-ceo. Most people probably can't pull it off. You might as well say >just make a successful and useful product prototype, patent it, and sell it for millions
Brandon Jenkins
Not a mexican, a king of mexicans.
Ryder White
Get a prenup and marry some $0 net worth girl with low upkeep so she becomes your dependent on the financial aid forms. Even better if she is in college with wealthy parents because she stops being a dependent of her parents, which makes he eligible for financial aid.
Austin Robinson
Yes OP me and my boys all made fun of the old people in my uni classes, we would throw things at them and hide their homework and ask them what school was like back before technology existed Kek.
Jaxon Smith
yes.
Anthony Phillips
Most landscaping is just cutting grass and pruning bushes and trees. Sure you're still going to have Jose and Pedro working on flowers and shit, but given another decade there'll be some grass roomba and some guy is going to think it's safe slapping some industrial-grade trimmers on an automated drone to cut bushes and trees.
Mason Foster
lol
Easton Ortiz
I'm 27, went back to my CC about 3 years ago, just got accepted into a 4 year so no. Not too late. Also, lol, good luck on a CS degree, I hope you're good at Math
Jonathan Powell
Just get a cs degree and pick up some crypto books, by the time you are disciplined enough to get the degree, you'll understand the book ( this will also save you a few thousand bucks)
Leo Williams
>Is 22 too late to go to college? No. But college is waste of money these days. There is very low ROI. Go trades.
Jayden Turner
This is unironically a GREAT option. WGU also has a data analytics track which is another market that'll be hot in the next decade.
Christian Adams
If you get scholarships out of high school the returns are very good though. $40-80k for about a 40k increase in starting salary if you are in a good major.
Jordan Davis
which crypto books
Adrian Nelson
I'm 24 and I started my first semester of college this year. Found out it's a huge waste of money where the teachers don't even "teach you". >Go to this website and it'll show you how to do it.
This will be my only semester and I'm going to a trade school if I don't make it off crypto.
Landon Foster
I got out of High School and had no fucking idea what I wanted to do. I still don't really and now I'm 20. I'm about to get an Associates in General Studies and was originally planning to transfer from community college to a four year. Except nothing really interest me and I don't want to get a bullshit degree. I'm thinking about just staying at community college but starting their Mechatronics program. That way I can get a job working on automated systems, PLC systems, and other electrical equipment. It pays good and I'm actually more interested in something like that then a desk job.
Mason Cooper
in countries with 'free' uni, people who don't go to uni pay for the education (and often life expenses) of those who do. if not directly, then by receiving less cuts/subsidies by the money that goes into the 'free' education.
'free' education = almost everyone is forced to go to college, or pay the price (directly or indirectly)
it just gives an imbalanced amount of power to those at college, who decide the final faith of the gov money
Christian Perry
>Find a college that teaches cryptocurrency >Look up the curriculum and assigned reading
Use Google
Jaxson Lee
No. That's when a lot of people go to college.
I didn't graduate college till 23, I won't get my masters till 28, and I will be 32 (at best) when I get my phd. I'm still on the same track as a good portion of people and know many people the same age and older than me in my classes.
Daniel Davis
I picked a meme degree my first time around and worked shit jobs until I finally had enough of it at 25 years of age. Took an entrance exam at a community college for nursing, raped the shit out of it, and passed national boards 2 years later. I had a $60k job lined up before I even graduated in a 40 bed ICU that sees a lot of CV shit. Total cost was a hair over $12k, I worked nights as a psych tech to help cover it. I wouldn't say the job was all pizza and blowjobs but sometimes they would stop being crazy and sleep long enough for me to read a chapter or two. Now I'm working towards a BSN and will either go informatics since I like computers more than people or anesthesia since I can tolerate sleeping people. BSN costs about $14k and takes one year, all online. All the while I'm dumping money into crypto and ETFs. I'm used to living on a paupers wage from the psych hospital so my bags are steadily growing.
Nursing is stressful but the sector is attractive for many reasons. There is a shortage(nation-wide,ymmv regionally), many nurses are old ladies going into retirement, 70k average salary but only takes a 2 year degree, and the whole glass escalator thing if you believe feminists. Sex is like 9:1 F:M. Bedside is shit but there are lots of different paths. Management/admin if you like money and numbers, informatics for compuper, and lots of advanced practice. Note that nursing deals with populations though so a specialty is going to be like geriatric, psych, family, etc. You can't become a CV nurse practitioner strictly speaking, though it still happens in a roundabout way.
>trades Enjoy your back problems and negative societal status
Nathan Russell
Trades is the new meme, a few years ago it was muh STEM. Just another attempt to flood the market and depress wages.
Grayson Brooks
no user. im 65 and im back in school for that darn digital science degree
Jaxson Garcia
Somehow i highly doubt introverted autist "smart but lazy" types that make up the majority of 4chans population would be cut out for skilled labor. I know my fucking clumsy ass wouldn't. I would fuck something up on the first day. If youre the type of person that ends up on Jow Forums do computer science. Just fucking trust me on this one we dont need "y-you t-toos" fixing our pipes and wires.
Jaxson Miller
Welp, going back to school at 33. And I know people in their 40s and 50s in college. Any moment is a good moment to improve yourself.
>going back to school >Paying thousands of dollars to have some one read a PowerPoint slideshow to you >For 20-40k you could literally start any business you wanted, or buy specialized equipment/software for the field you want to work in and complete projects with them.
Leo Rodriguez
OP I'm in same boat. To be honest I had no idea what to do after high school. I tried few things out, had few girla and multi year relationships. I think I learned a lot in this time, but if I were guided better I could of saved 2-3 years and save up a lot more money and did way better.
The only thing that sucks is seeing friends finishing, but it is what it is. At least I know what I want and am gonna get that CS degree. If not for much knowledge, then at least paper and connections. I'm sure I have better discipline, 5 years of work experience and general outlook on life, with strong philosophicaln fundamentals on why I wanna wake up every day.
t. 22 year old user, going to CS college this fall
I've met people much older that 22 going to college. It's not too late, OP. You can do it!
Luke Morgan
Other thing that sucked was failing at my age for 3 straight years, while working hard, but not smart. Not hitting your expectations and missing on a lot of money has completely ruined me for few months every year. This year I said fuck it, I know I will outwork these kids any day of the week. Going to classes and learning will be the easiest part of my life.
Parker Murphy
man 60k without BSN? What state are you in?
Oliver Baker
Mississippi, we are below average for salary nationwide. Part of it is was hunting around for the best pay, jobhunters have the advantage and can be picky. The region is seeing a lot of population growth and outside investment. I work Fri/Sat/Sun nights to maximize the shift differentials. I might have fudged a little because we have a program where nurses make an additional $8/hour if we pick up a 7th shift in 2 week pay period. That alone makes 84 hours on the check, assuming you clock out before 0723 every shift. Reality is closer to 86 so that's a little overtime, unless we have an inservice or staff meeting which adds another 2-8 hours.
I don't work the usual 3 shifts/wk, and if I wanted to worked another shift or two they would be glad to let me. I probably should but taking full time classes makes it hard enough picking up that 7th shift. If all goes keikaku doori I should be making 80k next year. It's not easy but I do it for the love of money.
Caleb Long
do it senpai you got this
Jacob Gray
>too late to go to college That's fucking stupid. That's like saying "I'm too old to learn new shit"
