How do you guys feel about the inevitable UBI coming?
Automation is already coming here sooner than we think.

>automation is coming sooner than you think
You fucking faggots keep saying this shit but somehow my car keeps breaking down. If theres automation then why the fuck havent the robots come to fix it yet?
Explain why you think there would be a sustainable UBI system rather than the cost of goods and services dropping sharply from automation.
You know, like how prices have dropped every other time something has been automated through history.
The west lacks the will to drop the minimum wage below the cost of automation because people can vote.
Don't worry about it, crypto will make food stamp economies easier to implement.
All these UBI experiments that appear to be successful are all predicated on one thing. They aren't self funded. Yeah if someone is given free money they will be able to live a better life.
In reality this will be the death of the middle class. As inflation builds up all their savings gets wiped out.
IF this ever happen, all non inflationary currencies are gonna go to Pluto, so i'm ok with that.
Got me fucking rolling
I don't see anything wrong with people having their savings wiped out. Inflation only affects them if they're holding cash instead of investing it, in which case they're not smart and I really don't care if they lose money.
It's fine. A growing underclass that's freed up to reproduce can churn out meat until we're ready to genetically engineer it to the point where its reintegration becomes a more efficient way forward. Capitalism will suck for a few generations but it will reignite productivity that defies present day comprehension.
Today's way is the only responsible way forward.
>I don't see anything wrong with stealing wealth via economic systems.
Lel, this is why most of my savings are in bullion.
Inflation is a cash on tax, intended to encourage spending and investment. People who want to fight it and hold cash anyway will get their wealth siphoned away into the hands of those who are more financially literate. It's the closest we'll ever get to taxing stupidity and I think it's a perfectly fine system.
>being able to wait in bread lines via the block chain
I had a good chuckle.
That's fine if they want to vote for gibs though, price drops mean fewer gibs to go around at all.
UBI isn't a new thing.
We used to call it feudalism.
Because the prices on most things either go up or stay the same. I can't think of much that is considerably cheaper than it was 20 years ago, outside of certain electronics.
Still morally wrong. Are you so unable to offer anything of value to the world that you need to join the ranks of parasites and their siphoning systems?
such certainty fueled by such ignorance
I disagree that it's morally wrong, I see it as a more moderate form of survival of the fittest.
Probably the only option we got rn. This thread is useless cause it will be swarmed by people who REEEEE SOCIALIST IDEAS.
UBI is a form of wealth redistribution, a good one. Fucking faggot kikes hoarding so much money making the middle class fucking poor. This is a good solution. Inb4 retards; but muhhhh inflation.
I guess I can agree that it's certainly a survival tactic. Not exactly a high place on the food chain though.
If you think it's morally wrong then by the same logic you should also avoid participating in any kind of financial markets, because the money you make is 'siphoned away' from other people. The only honorable way of making money would be by producing goods.
The autorepair feature is only on luxury models. Stop driving shitboxes
Bread and circuses
I do produce services/goods.
I don't view crypto or stocks as terrible, they're markets that are voluntarily entered in to. Buying and selling those isn't really different than buying or selling anything else.
Government currency is entirely different, I think you'll agree. That's intended to be the neutral medium to make trade easier, not to be a game of asset hot potato.
>making the middle class poor
You know most wealth is created from scratch and not something a parent-like figure gives out for us to divide up, right?
They have no fucking clue. There's like 1 person working in AI for every 100 of these fucking retards spouting stupidity about how everyone is going to lose their job. It will be nothing like the faggots on here or R*ddit say it will be like. They're like women ffs
>which case they're not smart and I really don't care if they lose money.
t. Brainlet that is down 75% in crypto
